Too large for suitcase stands when opened-up.

One 2.5 week International trip. Several hotels and lodges; I like the volume and used the expand-ability, however when opened-up, it was too large for typical luggage stands, and slippery so it fell off. I'd purchase a deep suitcase with a lid in the future. When expanded, the 'accordion' middle flexed a lot, so I purchased two straps to insure the case got thru several international airports. I wouldn't purchase this type again.

Zipper Issues

Overall a pretty nice product. I really wanted to try a hard sided luggage and knew of TravelPro’s reputation for durability and quality Takes getting used to as packing items is now split in half vs more traditional zipping a flap. Buyers beware that the zipper will skip teeth and become open while trying to close case . This happened to me several times from the first time using. Had to slowly try to reopen and then close suitcase to make sure that the zipper teeth stayed closed. Time will tell if this will be my go to piece as right know I’m not sure.

Bumper broke off on first use

I like that these move well, and the storage is good, but the quality was much lower than other cheaper options I’ve used. I’m a business traveller so durability and quality is important. Customer service was not what I hoped for either. They put me through the ringer on questions and ultimately replaced the defective suitcase. They told me I would need to return the whole original set when I received the replacement (single suitcase replacement was not an option). I received the replacements, boxed up the 2 originals and realized they didn’t give me an address or return label. I reached out and they said you can keep the originals too. I guess that’s a win for most, but it was frustrating to me. Why the mixed messages? I go through a lot of luggage, and so them saying keep it was the same as saying it’s your problem now. Needless to say, it’s usable, but the durability is concerning. P.S. the full expansion is nice but man is it difficult to maneuver once in full expansion.

Seems to be well made and roomy.

I put them to use on trip to Vancouver and they held up great rolling them thru airports and skytrain . They also came with three bags for shoes , laundry, and stuff.

Zip and TSA lock broke in one use

These bags do not roll as easily and the handles are not sturdy. We took the carry-on on a local flight and check-in on an international flight. The TSA lock got stuck and the zipper broke in one use.

I am too old to be frustrated with a stupid bag

Bought two sets- one for hubs and one for my sister- my daughter and her hubs have a set so I know how good they are- but after I bought one for my trip with my sister I’m never going to have a bag that isn’t wonderful again! Lightweight, maneuvers easily and can pack a great deal in it. I watched my sister deal with her awful bag and couldn’t stand it. We are too dang old to be putting up with bags that aren’t great. Truly the cost is worth having no frustration with a bag…..

Good Value for the Price

The luggage seems sturdy, moves easily on 2 or 4 wheels. Disappointed on the amount of space the handles take up. It's the inside storage space that is the purpose of luggage and not convenient handles. If they redesigned the luggage so that the retractable handles were on the outside, I would give them 5 stars without question.

Looks really nice, very flimsy

Got the cream color for my mom, they look beautiful, but they feel very flimsy. I would be afraid to take the checked bag on a flight, so I'll be returning them.

Very cute

The media could not be loaded. Sorry for the chaos on this video but it was funny. I’m really impressed with both of these. I was searching for a while for less expensive but nice looking luggage. I also wanted both a carry on and checked luggaged. They feel a tiny bit on the flimsy side. But overall really great pieces and price. The insides for both are the same. Excited to travel with these !!
