Sorry I bought it

This tape adheres well if you can get it off the roll. It splits and the tape comes off the adhesive. I did one job but don’t know if I will be able to use the rest of the roll because ie it such a mess. Should of read the reviews but I figured it’s just duct tape.

Just ok. Not great quality

Very thin tape and adhesive is Just ok. Was not impressed with the quality. Better products out there at 12 bucks each while this is a better value tape at 8 each. 3 stars for the value.

As good as you'd expect

A coworker of mine (in an R&D lab) was using masking tape to try to attach electrodes to polycarbonate housings that has veeeeery slight grease residue on them. He's supposed to be a scientist and then pulls that. Why? He was out of duct tape and didn't want to be bothered to order more. This is what I ordered so we would have some for a while. This actually sticks. This stuff is currently holding stuff that's taped to the wall. Not only did we use it in the lab, but to actually fix a hole in a duct (damaged by accident during expansion of the lab). This is the kind of tape that once it accidentally sticks to itself, you just start fresh with a new piece. That kinda strong and sticky. Its very easy to tear and doesn't end up with those long thing strips being left to tear down the length of your roll (if you've bought cheap tape, you know what I'm talking about). Does it cost more than some other options? Sure. And yes, I used company card to buy this, but I have a roll at home that bought in person because it is just good tape. You pay a little more for quality things, but then end up needing to use far less of them to get the job done. If you're buying duct tape, this is the tape you want.

Thin tape

The tape is very thin, making it difficult to start pulling off a new length of tape without ending up with narrow strips, It is too difficult to get a full-width piece of tape off the roll.

It's black and it tapes things together

It works well and does what is supposed to do, tape things together. I'm sure I could figure out ways to make it not work, but it does it's job in regular use.

Ruined a whole batch of kombucha because it wouldnt stick. The tape I used on temperature probe that I taped to the bottle fell during the night and the kombucha went too warm. Threw it away and would not but this garbage again. Please get rid of all the crooked execs who are getting paid six digits to come up with plans to save money by reducing the quality. These people are there high giving themselves and sucking the company dry with their bonuses on the back of your reputation.

Peels off cardboard in 2 hours!

We bought 10 rolls of this tape for our move, but to our dismay after just 2-3 hours of application the tape would peel off of the cardboard boxes and they would fall apart. We thought 3M was a trustworthy brand but this tape is terrible. We had to re-tape every single box in the house. No refund. Do not recommend, on all fronts!!

Binds very well but...

...this tape is extremely thin and is a headache to cut to size. if you tare it by hand, chances are that it will fold up and stick to itself. You have to be careful in applying it...easily wrinkles and shows every imperfection. On the plus side, once it's applied, IT IS SOLID HOLD. If you're not concerned with getting a smooth fix...this is great...otherwise look for something thicker. OKAY BUY

Must have standby item for any Canadian house hold

Great quality 3M product that's strong, sticky and durable. This tape is a must have standby item for any Canadian household. There's simply a thousand useful different uses for this item on the fly or when in dire need, it can be used in virtually any setting.

Lots of usage applications

I saw a car with his front bumper duct taped on, he might've gotten a ticket but it works, not sure which brand it was though. I figured I could use a tape that sturdy, haven't used it tbh, but the possibilities are endless. I even saw a boat made with these on mythbusters, with some success.
