I really like this little kit, it's flexible and nice and compact for travel. Since I'm a shaving-cream-and-razor type of guy, you might wonder why I got this kit, so I'll straight up admit it was for the nose hair attachment. I've seen those little conical nose hair shavers advertised for years and was curious if they actually work, so that was the first thing I tried. Now there's probably nothing that will ever match the laborious trimming job I do with a pair of micro scissors, but this device did a pretty good job, and I most likely will use this from now on because it's safer than the scissors. So once I was convinced of that, I thought I might as well try to shave a couple days growth off my face and see how that goes. I got that little foil attachment installed and went to it, but wasn't impressed. The instructions, which are mostly just pictures, don't give you any clue to the proper use of this so what I figured out is that the other attachments will get the 3-day growth down to about 1-day. Then you use the foil attachment to get in closer. And then I was happy. It might take a little longer than with a razor blade but the thing is, I could see me using this more often than if I have to lather up and shave. I typically won't shave for 3 to 5 days because it's a hassle, but this shaver can keep me looking tidy with almost no prep work and clean up. The only complaints I have are that the packaging and storage could be improved. First off, when you look at the packaging it says All-In-One 7 but then further down it says 8 in 1, then in the bottom right it shows a picture of the various heads and there are 6. They do show the carrying case too, so maybe that makes 7. But once you open it up, you find there are spaces for the shaver body and a head that's attached to it, plus 3 other spaces with shaver heads. Then there's a grey head that's loose in the bottom that has "body" embossed on it. So I count 5 actual heads plus 2 combs that fit over one (or more?) of the heads. So you have 7 things directly related to shaving, so I'm not sure where the 8 in one comes from. No where do the instructions (such as the pictures are) mention or explain the 8-in-1 that I could see. Then there is the storage. You really want all these heads and the charger and user manual to fit in the carrying case. I mainly need the manual because I'm new to using an electric, so the pictures with the different heads give me some idea whether I'm using this properly. Maybe later it just becomes second nature. But the best I could do was get everything except the manual in the case, and that took quite a bit of fiddling because the power adapter doesn't come installed in the case, it's elsewhere in the box and it's up to you to figure out how to squeeze it in. But I did and so I can tell you it all fits minus the manual. There's another thing on the box and even on the motor body that says "AutoSense" but it took me a while to figure out what that is. If I interpret the pictures correctly, it seems that some shavers will bog down on thicker hair, so this shaver detects the load on it and adjusts the motor power to keep things going at a good pace. That's my best guess anyway. Overall, it's not as compact as my travel-size can of shaving cream and razor, but I do believe I'm going to ditch that. I was going to give this a 4 star rating with all my nit-picky comments but, really, it suits me perfectly, so upping it to a 5.
