So expensive

Jeez someone is getting rich, the quality of these are mediocre at best and certainly not worth $59 each! These buttons don’t feel premium and I can’t imagine this lasting a long life of kids and 1,000,000 operations. However everything else on the market is even worse and of course nothing else is offered in black. So steal my wallet Caseta because I’ve already bought too many of these! Also note to anyone reading this. It’s cheaper to buy proper LED bulbs aka not the cheapos as they will flicker. And you don’t want to have to shell out the $120 Lutron Caseta switch so do a favor and check compatibility first!!!!

Funciona bien pero es bastante exigente respecto a conexiones y cableado

El producto es bueno y cumple su funcion pero no como lo esperado, tratamos de integrarlo a un sistema ya existente y no es compatible con las conexiones habituales y la conmutacion es limitada a un encendido en el interruptor mecanico. Para simular la conmutacion es necesario dejar en encendido la conexion conectar al interruptor lutron y usar un mando a distancia, en mi caso se uso el Lutron Pico PJ2-2B-GBL-L01, que se adapto sobre la toma que tenia la conexion de entrada y la union de los cables como si estuviese en ON. Otra exigencia del sistema es que pide el cableado de neutro, que en la mayoria de ocasiones para interruptores no se utiliza. El funcionamiento del sistema ya montado es muy bueno, el mando a distancia aunque esta muy alejado del router y el Smart Bridge funciona a la perfeccion, pero no lo recomendaria para aquellos que no tienen integrado el sistema Case Lutron en su casa ya que el precio seria muy elevado para un solo punto conmutado. Respecto a la integracion con Alexa, en mi pais hay una limitacion geográfica impuesta por Amazon y no lo permite, sin embargo el Google Asistant no tiene dichas restricciones y funciona a la perfeccion. El servicio de post venta de Lutro es muy bueno y si alguno de tus dispositivos deja de funcionar adecuadamente, por supuesto por un daño no causado, cambian la parte sin el menor problema, asi mismo asisten en caso de tener un problema de incompatibilidad como ocurre en ocasiones con algunos bombillos.

Resetta the Caseta.

Update 2021 01 16: The problems listed below were the result of a bad CAT 5 ethernet cable. I swapped cables and all of those problems went away. Caseta is now one of the more reliable Homekit switches I have. Caseta bridge keeps disconnecting from all devices. Have to keep resetting the Caseta smart bridge to reconnect with devices. All devices continue to function locally and all pico remotes continue to function regardless of smart bridge connection. But once smart bridge disconnects from system the app is unusable which renders any automation inoperative and remote management inoperative. Everytime the smart bridge is reset, the bridge stays disconnected from Apple Homekit. That requires deleting the bridge from the home which also removes all devices that the bridge controls. Then bridge has to be re added to Homekit from scratch along with all devices. I did this several times. With ten switches it's an involved process everytime. Eventually I stopped adding the Caseta bridge to Homekit, but that renders all the automation I created with Homekit inoperative. I also have Hue, Lifx, Ecobee, iDevices, Egato, and Fibaro. All of them have occasional connection issues with Homekit with the exception of the Eve Elgato switch. That always works. The iDevices is also very reliable with rarely any issues. But all of the others come back online at some point except for the Caseta. The Caseta never comes back on it's own and always has to be reset. I travel a lot and that means that all Caseta devices stay off line completely until I can come home and rest the bridge again. And then delete and re-add the bridge and all devices to Homekit. My son calls it "Resetta the Caseta." Hardware quality is very good. Local control works well. Pico remotes work well.

Need to buy product! The only downfall is price!! These switches are expensive!!!! You’re definitely paying for quality, and you will get quality!!! When is Lutron having a sale? So I can loadup on purchases.

The fact that this switch is black is great since I replaced a switch with a black plate

For a living room with two distinct entrances I had only a single light switch controlling a transformer for a line of low voltage lights. I replaced it with this switch and added a wall mounted Lutron PJ2-2B-GWH-L01 Pico On/Off Remote. I can now control the light from every entry/exit. Marvellous! The fact that this switch is black is great since I replaced a switch with a black plate: the room is painted in a dark blue.
