My default winter jacket for travel; can get a bit warm indoors though.

I used this jacket during winter travel to Tokyo and San Francisco. It kept me warm on even the coldest of mornings. I could be standing in 40 degree weather wearing only jeans and a tucked-in T-shirt underneath; and yet be perfectly warm and comfortable wearing this jacket. The down insulation works really well, and yet the jacket is very light and not bulky. There's a inside chest pocket on the left side to fit smart phones easily. There's also two fleece-lined pockets for your hands. All the pockets and the main zipper uses YKK zippers that work very smoothly. There's two waist draw-strings that keep the cold from coming in at your hips which can easily be tightened while wearing the jacket. I used this jacket while site-seeing and shopping during my vacation. As I stated before, it works well for outside use. But once inside, I felt that it became a little too warm, especially inside shopping malls. The inside of the jacket is lined with Colombia's heat-reflective material. This does keep me insulated well, but it doesn't seem to wick away moisture very well. That's why I recommend wearing a thin long-sleeve shirt underneath to absorb any moisture that may build-up.

Thin and lightweight and pretty warm

I tried on the white out ii version of this coat which has different (synthetic) filling. Colombia advertises this turbodown version as warmer. That’s not my impression. There seems to be less filling in this one and the large size is slightly bigger which leaves too much space between me and the jacket. Also, the down feathers have occasion to come out through the outer shell. If I hadn’t already written my name on the tag, I’d have exchanged it for the other one that fits better.

Amazing!!!

These jackets are freaking fantastic ultra lightweight super comfortable super warm I can't say enough good things about it and I just I'm running out of words to say how awesome it is just stop reading my review and buy the darn thing

Warm

This is my 3 coat and I love that they are light weight and keep you warm. Pockets zip up and has a inner pocket that zips to hold things. Color’s don’t dad when washing. Great jacket for winter

great looking jacket but

It's not for winter. I wore it out at 40F and in only 15 minutes I could already feel a chill. and there are no inner pockets, just the two at the side. It was a hard decision to return it since it looked so good on me and fit perfectly. If it weren't for the fact that I already have 3 autumn jackets I would have kept it.

Warm and super light weight

I wanted something light, comfortable, and warm for morning walks with the dog. This is all of those things. I wore it this morning with just a long-sleeve fleece shirt underneath and was comfortable in 35 degree air with a mild wind.

Nice jacket but not dog approved.

Liked the Jacket but not sure what the stuffing is or what material they use but my dog out not go anywhere near the jacket which is weird. Left the jacket on the couch and he would not go on the couch and just stare at it. So I washed the jacket and the same thing! No lie.

Fit and comfort are outstanding!

Super light weight. Maybe a little less puffy in person than it looks in the pictures, but the fit and comfort are outstanding. It was a windy 34 this morning and felt like 24 with the windchill, but you do not feel any wind at all coming in. Actually had to set the AC in my try down to 63 because of how warm I felt wearing the jacket. Should be great during really cold days.

Bic Lighter in Pocket

Jacket was fine, but finding a yellow bic lighter in the pocket was bizarre to say the least.

Fake Product- Poor Quality

FAKE! The quality is bad on this jacket. I literally got this delivered today and tried it on and feather were already falling out of it... the stitching is very loose. Another tip off was, Columbia jackets come with product/price tags attached... there were none. I would NOT recommend this.

Likely counterfeit

I am 99% sure this is a counterfeit item. I already have this coat which I purchased direct from Columbia a couple of years ago. The quality difference is night and day. My original coat is much “puffier” and the logos are stitched on. Whereas this coat is extremely flat, doesn’t seem to be turbo down filled and has printed logos that are peeling. I would say avoid buying Columbia from Amazon and stick with the manufacturers website directly.

Chamarra muy ligera pero caliente, muy bien hecha

La chamarra si es Columbia original. Es muy ligera y empacable,no es pachona. El forro interior omniheat te saca un poco de onda al principio, es muy reflectante, luce como película metalizada, pero parece que funciona bien al retener el calor. Los bolsillos vienen forrados de microfibra, supongo que calentará muy bien pero si tienes las manos rasposas o resecas sientes como se atora ligeramente tu piel con la microfibra. Ojo, bien importante, la talla viene muy amplia, normalmente uso L pero en este caso pedí Mediana y me quedo bien, mido 1.75 y peso 95 kg. Trae ajuste de cintura pero no de gorra, aunque no lo necesita, la gorra está bien diseñada, ya que te la pones y cubre tu cara y cuello sin espacios por donde entre aire pero no te estorba. Las mangas te cubren perfecto, no te quedan ni cortas ni largas.

Son loves it!

Was finally able to convince my son to wear a jacket! He would only use hoodie sweaters before - I don’t know for the life of me what it is with these high school kids & not wearing jackets but since I got him this one, have had no problems at all. He uses it everyday without any reminder from me. Extra care is needed to always wash this in delicate cycle & no fabric softener, so I have to wash it separately, and also get it out of the dryer as soon as the cycle is done - as per care instructions. Other than this minor inconvenience when doing laundry, I’m very happy with my purchase.
