long arms

I was looking for a roomy jacket and this one is that as well as cozy, but the arms were very long. There is a velcro strip to sinch it together, but I ended up needing to sew the sleeves up about 4 inches.

A little big..

I bought this in an extra small, hoping that these don’t run small, because of other reviews. Well, it turns out that it’s actually a bit big. The sleeves are long, covering my hands. The length is a bit long, going a bit past my hips and covering my behind. I’m a little bummed because it’s great quality and exactly what I wanted as far as being waterproof and warm/lined. I got it for an early spring late fall jacket. I’m still debating on whether I’m going to send it back or not. I might have to look into the youth sized jackets haha!

Good medium heavy raincoat

The jacket is lined with a very soft fur like material. I love it. The color is also very attractive. I also like that there is an internal velcro pocket. The sleeves are not lined with the fur, but does have a layer of stuffing under a lining fabric to keep the arms warm. This is really different than I have seen before, but great to help keep out the cold. The outer material seems like it will be very good in the rain. I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the XL is a bit snugger than I would have thought. I actually bought the 1X because of the price difference, but got the XL instead. It had no tags and smells like some kind of autumn potpourri, so I am pretty sure it was a return item. Thank goodness I recently lost 5 pounds because it is actually a pretty good fit on me at this time. I plan on keeping this jacket as I really need one for an upcoming trip and I really like the weight of it. I will of course be washing it and look forward to many years of use.

Excellent and Pretty

Looking for a 100% waterproof, warm-lined, raincoat that was pretty enough to wear to European cities, but hardy enough for trekking around forests proved to be quite the challenge. It took weeks of searching, bothering friends and family, getting frustrated, and returning stuff I tried on to find this. I'm normally a size medium but a bit disproportionate so I was glad to find Columbia tailors their women's clothing to ...you guessed it - WOMEN. A bit roomier up top, and tailored toward the bottom. The small is the perfect size for me (I'm 5'6", 155lbs) in that it closes a bit tight on top and then tapers just a little toward the bottom to be super flattering and not bulky like some raincoats worth their money tend to be. It's super lightweight and doesn't make crinkling sounds as you move. I'm so excited to use this on my trip as it is both warm and stylish, and I can def layer a bit under it as well, but don't really have to. I got in "Nocturnal" which can look purpley on other sites, but it's not - it's a beautiful, rich dark blue color, and the inside is grey so it'll match anything.

Great Jacket, sizing is off

Ordered a large and extra large. Love the color of the large jacket pictured, but the jacket in large runs small where as the xlarge is to large. I did keep the xlarge but wish it was a bit smaller.

Great in light rain and sleet

Bought this jacket for a Chicago trip in early April. Kept me warm when combined with a sweater underneath. Waterproof layer worked well in light rain and sleet.

Great winter coat!

I have been wearing this jacket with a longsleeve underneath in 10-20 degree weather and it keeps me warm! I have yet to test out the waterproofness but I am sure it will hold up in the snow. I love how it's not too bulky like regular winter jackets and not too platic-y like a rain coat. I am 5'3 and 125-130lb and the XS fit perfectly. The jacket goes into my hips a bit but does not hug them, and covers half my but which is how I like it to fit. I got it on sale for half off which was honestly a steal because I would still have paid full price

Perfect jacket- Order normal size!

I really LOVE this jacket. For reference, I'm 5'1'' and weigh 200lbs. 1x is usually perfect for me, but I like to get a size 20-22 in winter jackets/coats to allow room for a hoodie and bibs underneath. I reluctantly ordered a 3x after reading reviews that suggested to size up, especially if you wanted extra room. It was VERY large on me. Sizing up is NOT necessary in my opinion. Along with more sizing resources & reviews, size charts for each individual item on Columbia's website seem to be much more accurate. I recommend checking that out before ordering if you're unsure of your size. Reordering the 2x and hoping for a better fit!

It's ok

Nice jacket was wanting something a bit lighter but it has a furry lining and hood. I thought it might have a bit of a drawstring waist but doesn't...kind of shapeless. Great for cooler late fall weather.

Vous devez prendre unt taille plus petit. Les manches sont très longues, mais on peut les pliées. J'ai retourné le Medium et j'ai gardé le Petit, car il est vraiment confortable, coupe le vent et possède une doublure qui le rend agréable à porter sans ajouter de veste lors de grands vents. Mais, les manches sont très longues. Par contre, on peut les plier. Donc, je recommande cet item, mais ne pas oublier de prendre un point plus petit...
