Good quality not a good fit for me

I am 5’4”, 122 pounds, athletic build but slightly pear shaped. I bought a size 6. I may have liked them better in a smaller size, but didn’t care for the fabric or the cut. It made me look wider than I am and the legs just fit weird. I returned them.

Unfortunate sizing but quite comfortable

Unfortunately I ordered these in size 6 (a little small) and size 8 (too big). Really wish there wasn't such a huge size jump between the two. Even though the size 6 is a little small I decided to keep them because I really liked the navy color, material is lightweight, making them great for hot, humid summers.

Quality/Fit

I bought these in navy blue for work(I work outside in a marina) in a size 14, along with a 2nd pair similar to these but a different brand. They are very comfortable. I’ve had them for about a month now and have worn them maybe 4 or 5 times, the fabric holds up well and is very cool to wear outdoors. The issue I’m having with these (though I still like them) is that I have already popped the stitches in multiple places, which upset me. I have think thighs and a butt so it’s more than likely because of that, and I would’ve just gotten the next size up; the issue with that is the waist would’ve been way too big. The pant legs also roll when I sit down or move a lot which can be annoying.

Size Runs Small

Just fine for me because my size is between 14 and 16. I purchased size 16 and it fits snugly, and looks good, so I am keeping it. But I thought I should caution others. Also, I have an exaggerated lumbar angle (think booty). The cut works for me. These shorts don't produce that huge gap between my back and the waistband like so many other shorts do.

Almost the perfect outdoor short!

Waist: 32" Hips: 37.5" These are going to be great hiking this summer. I ordered an 8 and they fit great. Super light, perfect length, stretchy and will dry quick. The only concern for some is that these may be a little see-through, especially when they get wet. I'm not too concerned with it, but will update with results. UPDATE: So I ended up buying another two pair in navy and white. The white is VERY see through. So I would say avoid the white and tan the most if this is a concern for you. The picture I took of the white does not look that revealing, but I assure you in the sun and if/when you bend over they will show everything! I'm not going to rate any less than 4 stars because these are really great shorts. Just make sure to stick with the darker colors.

Lightweight comfort for all outdoor activities

Bought these for a Disney trip. They were perfect for the long hot days walking miles and even when getting drenched on water rides, no matter how wet I got they dried in minutes. They are light weight I stayed cool all day, never stretched out and the elastic waist did not stretch out. The fit is not tight but not baggy at all. I wear size 2P and the size 2 fit perfectly. Will definitely buy more colors.

Love the fit

I just wish it didn’t wrinkle in the dryer so bad. But they are very comfortable and nice for canoeing and summer heat. I wear them for all kinds of casual occasions.

Very small. Size way up.

Great shorts, feels like very nice material. The 3 stars is because they are ridiculously small. I am normally a size 6-8 (US sizes) and I ordered a size 10, just to be on the safe side. They are so beyond what a size 10 should be. I measured them up against another well known and respected brand of hiking shorts which are a size 6, and the size 6s were bigger than the Columbia size 10! Their sizing chart is way off the reality of what their product actually measures. Very disappointing.
