Exact replacement
Perfect fit for my tub drain that had worn out and hadn't been replaced since the 90s. I have no doubt this one will last 30 years as well.

Does the trick
Fits my 1950's tub perfectly, and not pricey. Nice to have the brushed nickel option. Don't screw it down too tight - you'll mash it, but otherwise, it's just fine.

This thing rusted in 9 months. Doubt it is stainless as described. Thin chrome over steel. Also the diameter was smaller than described. Junk.

Update: So unfortunately I am not finding ANY hair on the drain. I know it's not going under the outer rim. It must be going down the holes into my pipes. This drain looks great and hides the old drain well but I should be easily finding the wifes hair on the drain. Nothing at all and she has long hair. Not good. I ordered chrome and it DID NOT have the slots on the outer edge to let the water fully drain around it. As other stated when draining the tub or when finished showering the water puddles around the outside of the ring and stays there until it dries up. I was going to dremel my own slots but what i did instead was tighten the screw to make the cover tight. Then slightly back off the screw just a bit. This keeps the cover from moving but this will also let the water to actually slowly seep through under the outer edge of the ring. Hair wont go down but the water will. Works so far. The holes are big in my opinion which is fine. The cover has a dome shape which is a good thing. The biggest problem with hair is if you have old cast iron pipes like my house. Nothing is smooth inside and you get rust etc. It eventually clogs somewhere. Newer pvc usually doesnt have this issue since it is mostly smooth. This is a great replacement cover with the advice above. If it doesnt work for you just dremel a few notches around the outside. Price is worth it. 100% solid amazon buy

Looks great!
Love this item....really dresses up my RV tub. My old drain cover was rusty after just a few seasons because bits of water would pool around the drain cover. This new item won't allow water to pool, so I'm assuming it will stay nice for a lot longer.
