Exactly what I wanted

My wife and I recently sold our home that had this in our shower and we want it in the new home we are building. I had to contact Delta to get the correct model number and they were extremely helpful. This was the best price I could find and it was shipped promptly. I am very pleased.

shower head falls down

Delta's "Venetian Bronze" beautifully matches the other oil-rubbed bronze fixtures (from other brands) in my bathroom. I love the utility of an adjustable shower, that I can move it if it's not a hair washing day, or down lower for my toddler children to use. I've been using this hand shower for about 6 months now. The utility of an adjustable shower can be a perk with drawbacks. The one inch lever to tighten/loosen for vertical height placement is small and can be tough on the fingers to move. Then, after a few months, the shower head began to fall due to its weight at the top. It sits nearly horizontal rather than at that nice 45-degree angle. I tried tightening the screw in the holder with a screwdriver, but it loosened again, and so my hubby is going to try to add a rubber gasket to prevent it from slipping.

Warranty honored....good customer service

We bought this in the Spring of 2014, and it is used every day. About two months ago it started to leak where the hose meets the shower head. I noticed that there was a lifetime warranty, and I contacted the Delta Customer Service Sept. They immediately replaced the hose and hand held unit. So, looks good, works nicely (well, til it leaked), and excellent service.

Really Nice

I love the way this hand shower looks. Pros: Looks great Nice water flow Great height range. I can lower it for my 2 year old daughter, and raise it higher than needed for me (6'3") I don't have the problem some have reported about the lock not tightening to where it slips. Working great! Cons: Hose is pretty stiff when you get it, but it loosened up after a couple weeks. Shower head is made light weight for the price you are paying. Already notice an accumulation of hard water spots in a hard to clean areas after a couple months which might take away some of the beauty. Could just be the area I live in.

Shower hose is permanently kinked plastic.

Contractor was having fits trying to use the hose to measure the location of the supply elbow in relation to the slide bar. Fortunately I came home for lunch that day and helped him out. Frankly, I was shocked at the cheap hose included with this hand held shower package from Delta. The shower hose is permanently kinked plastic with a bright chrome finish. Looks and feels like it belongs on the $49.95 special at the box store. We're using all Delta in a master bath remodel but I'm not happy with this component and it makes me worry about the rest of the faucets, valves, etc.. We didn't use Delta to go cheap, we wanted reasonable quality for the money and American Made if possible. I've already ordered a replacement hose from American Standard (metal, flexible and a much better color match to Delta's stainless color). If I have big issues with anything else on this unit it will get sent back.

Great

I used this in a rental that is being designed for elderly. Elderly often sit in the shower. Being able to adjust the shower lower, while not holding it is essential so they can maintain balance but still get a good stream of water. This is one of many features I will be implementing to increase the comfort of my tenants, and hopefully in turn their lease terms and my profitability. The components are high grade. I am not worried about ever having to replace the bar, which is solid brass although they don't mention that, it will never rust. The shower head and hose I expect to have to replace at some point because those can only be made so durable. Luckily there is no short supply of hand held shower head replacements. Hope that helps.

Excellent product, definitely what I was looking for

This is a excellent replacement for what I previously had in the shower. My previous handheld shower head broke, plus I needed to replace the bar as well. Because I already had a bar installed in the shower, I need a replacement bar that would use the same holes already drilled into the wall tile. This item fit the bill perfectly. The bar was a perfect fit and the handheld shower head is a great replacement for the one I had.
