PERFECT FIT

But a trim kit to replace my old shower trim. Did not anticipate how deep the outer collar went into the wall. As a result I needed a longer sleeve to cover the shower valve. This did the trick.

Perfect length

The old delta trim was only 2.75” and found out by accident when I tried to flip the handle in another opening position. I have realized a possible leak in the future. Planning to apply silicone where the trim meets with the plate but tried amazon first if they have this trim. Most reviewers said it would fit. But nothing to lose anyway if I would try. But yes, the length fits perfectly and having a peace of mind is priceless that water leakage/penetration is unlikely. Old trim: 2.75” New trim: 3.5” Highly recommended ????.

Perfect Fit for Upgrading the Delta Monitor Series

I recently replaced the crystal ball with an updated handle on my existing Delta Monitor series shower faucet and the original stem stuck out, causing there to be a gap between the original trim and the new handle. After coming across this product, it was easy to remove the old trim and slide this one into place, making it seamless and look complete.

The part you need with a Delta shower

Solves the depth problem with Delta shower faucets. If you have a direct to stud shower, this will make sure your faucet istern is covered properly by the decorative chrome. The standard chrome tube provided by Delta in the shower faucet kit is too short unless you have a legacy very thick tile wall. This is a good product but probably should have been included by Delta in the standard shower kit to begin with.

Perfect fit and much better than relocating the shower control valve

Somewhere along the way, standards for plumbing installation apparently changed. In my house built in 1980 I discovered after the new shower was installed (of course) that the control valve was sticking too far out by a good 1-1.5". Rather than do major surgery to relocate it further back in to whatever the new "standard" depth is, this longer sleeve did the trick to cover the gap left when attempting to use the standard size sleeve that comes with most bath / shower kits. I actually needed the brushed nickel finish so this chrome was a standby while I ordered the correct one from another retailer that took a good month to arrive. However it fit great and saved me a lot of hassle!
