Nice conversation piece....

Great conversation piece. I am not a decorator by any means, I rely on a female friend of mine to help me with my home decorating. She told me this would have people notice it, and she was right. I thought it would be a bit larger but after getting it out of the packaging and placing it by itself on a nightstand, it looks great. Everyone who floats through the bedroom will ask "where did you get that?" I spent years traveling in the Far East with the DoD, and have numerous high-cost art pieces, but the quality of this makes people think I spent a pile of money on it--but I didn't. If you are in the market for a great looking piece of sculpture at a decent decorating price, this is what you want to buy. As always, packaging was great, no dings during shipment. Buy this, you won't be disappointed...

For the cost, didn’t bother returning

It smaller than I had hoped. Better as book stopper ends, but not really heavy. Made of a foam interior and meant more for indoors or a covered porch area. A bit ornate and not practical for outdoor used as guardians of your entrance way as they are intended traditionally. They are cute for gifting, and I kept them bc they were inexpensive. I did buy a set for around $200 that was made of concrete and they were perfect size and great detail, intended for outdoor guarding. It too was available on amazon.

It's very cute and good size for the price, my son bought it for me for my Birthday I have a little collection of buddha statues It's hollow so be very careful with him! Namaste????

Beautiful, majestic Tang Horse

Prompt delivery; gorgeous Tang Horse (I purchased two); nice colors. My only con, which actually turned out to be a plus, is that the styrofoam packing material stuck to the base. I took my trusty Goo Gone with a soft rag and to my surprise the black base color under the horse came off which unveiled a silver metal like base which resembles a tile floor which made the statue even more gorgeous and unique. To me these are priceless; very expensive looking for a very reasonable price. i highly recommend..

disappointed with it's quality

The 2 statues came in nicely packed and on time, unfortunately one side of the male foo dog's base was gouged enough for me to tell it was made of wood because bits were sticking out, the area looks like it was glazed over with an uneven glob of varnish which unfortunately failed in it's attempting to hide the flaw and just looks like a discoloured glob of varnish. I should have sent it back for a replacement but it was a gift for someone and I wasn't certain if it would arrive in time plus I wasn't sure if the replacement would be worse, so I kept it and bought something else to give because I couldn't give a gift looking so blemished.
