No box

I love this popper but am disappointed it came in a regular shipping box. I bought one at Cost Plus and it came in the manufacturer's box. I prefer to store it in the box.

Too Fragile

It already has a crack by the handle and I don't know how it happened. The glass is very thin, just make sure you don't accidentally bump it up against anything.

Wow

This works so much better then microwave bag popcorn. Normally I do like air popped popcorn but it's no fun to make. This was a shock. I could watch the kernals pop. Putting butter in top it came out wonderful.

Leaves many kernels unpopped

This works ok, but you will never see it as full of popcorn as the one pictured. I use a capful of kernels and only about half will pop which means the container is about empty.

Great! but not quite what was pictured

I have had two of these in the past and loved not needing to scrub out a pan or eat the mediocre stuff in the microwave bags. After breaking my 2nd one against the sink faucet I ordered this one. The ad did not show the plastic handle and plastic sleeve that were in other competing ads. I hate plastic so - great. However, the plastic encased one came so I returned it and re-ordered. The plastic handled one came again so I just kept it. It still makes great popcorn.

I am in love with this wonderful popcorn maker. No more messy greasy pan, and the popcorn is delicious. It’s made of strong borosilicate glass (like chemistry class bottles). There was another similar option to consider with a red plastic handle and bottom cover. I chose this one because I think it will last longer. Both parts clean very easily. I use yellow corn kernels. Be careful when removing the silicone lid after popping because there will be a lot of hot steam. After placing popped in corn in bowl I add one of a variety of my favorite oils which I buy here on Amazon. Each has its own distinct flavor ... pistachio, walnut, avocado, or olive oil from La Tourangelle Artisan Oils. I then grind a tiny bit of salt and lots of black or multicolored peppercorns over the popcorn and mix it well. I can’t tell you how delicious this is. The oils are light and healthier than butter. You can also buy a very fine sugar and sprinkle it over buttered popcorn if you want a sweet taste. At this point I actually prefer the oils over butter. I think those that are experiencing issues may just need to experiment with amount of corn and temperature on their microwave. Also, an important consideration is that your kernels of corn are fresh. Stale kernels do not pop well. Buy one. It’s fun, easy and cute! ????❤️
