Great little light

We could hardly see our front door when trying to unlock it at night. This is a great little motion detected light that gives plenty of brightness (and prevents us from having to keep our outdoor light on all the time). Easy to install and love that we can direct the light where we want it. I'll be curious to see how long the battery lasts (not sure if the motion detection part zaps energy) but for now it is exactly what we need.

Light our stairs

We use three of these to light our dark stairwell. A good option, where we don’t have electricity for wired lights. Because they are square, we have the option to just a sit them on the step versus gluing or nailing into the wall.

Almost perfect

Haven’t used the adhesive to secure in place do not sure how well it works. Love these lights. Using on a staircase that’s dark and they’re a great help. Wish the unit was a bit bigger to shine more light but I def would buy more of these.

4th one

This is my 4th one. I had 3 at the top & bottom of our stairs where we don’t have electrical outlets & in our hallway where turning on the light switch would be too bright at night. The 3 worked fine, but now that I’m 8 months pregnant, I wanted one more halfway down the stairs so I can see the stairs in front of me better. The AAA batteries for the one at the top of the stairs (which gets more movement & therefore turns on/off more often) finally died after about 5 months of use. When I set up this 4th one, the one at the bottom of the stairs started not lighting up as I walked past; at first I thought it was also dead batteries but I took out & put back in the same batteries, & now it lights up again as I walk past. I haven’t stuck them to the wall, but rather have them sitting on the ledge of my baseboards, which is the same thickness as the flat edge of these lights. Now that I have them in the basic places I want them, I’m thinking of sticking the magnets to the wall—but if/when I do, I will use the adhesive from Command brand wall hooks, since I have experience removing that without damaging the wall.

some difficulty

Its great...but it took me about 20 minutes to get the back off to install the batteries. I finally had to use a knife to pry it off. Doesn't say how to get it off...I even looked online for directions. In the directions that come with it...it just says take back off and insert batteries.

It does everything I wanted from a battery operated motion sensitive night light.

It really works

Does everything as expected. I like the ability to adjust the angle of the light. I installed it near our front door. It picks up motion immediately and gives plenty of time to find the keyhole and unlock the door at night. I do wish I had purchased a higher lumen but it's adequate.
