Nice print, a bit wide

Good quality material. The fit is a bit wide due to the cutting style in the back. I am keeping it because my kid likes the fun print.

Uncomfortably high neck

The sizing on this is forgiving for heavier girls, unlike many other suits by this brand. The size 16 fits my daughter, who has about a 29" waist and is about 4'10" (110 lb). Size-wise, she can fit into suits for women, but she's young enough to be uncomfortable in the styling of most suits for adults. This is a young style, with full rear coverage and a modest, young cut. It's also a great color and cute pattern. The only problem is the neck, which reaches uncomfortably high for my daughter. The suit fits in every other way, but the high neck, which is part of the design, feels "weird" to her and a little claustrophobic. We wanted the high neck because she's a little self-conscious about her changing figure, but this neck goes a little too high up. The suit is wearable, but it's not going to be her favorite because of that. This might be a better suit for girls with a long torso.

Age appropriate without being babyish

Like all Speedo swimsuits, this is well made. Both the design and print are cute and age-appropriate. The only negative is like the adult sizes these seem to run a little small- if your daughter is between sizes, you will want to order the next size up.
