Adorable

My 3-year-old AND almost-8-year-old boys are delighted with this set. They’ve been non stop “playing cupcakes” NICELY together since it arrived. A true miracle. Agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if the pieces snapped together a little more snugly but I would still highly recommend this toy for open ended imaginative play.

Pieces don’t stay connected. Very frustrating for child

These are so cute, but the pieces just don’t stay connected and constantly fall apart. You would think the pieces would be interchangeable and would stay stacked but they just don’t. It is incredibly frustrating for a child and just ends with pieces everywhere. Definitely don’t recommend

Pretty cute and fun colors.

These are pretty cute but the pieces don’t really fit well which makes it too easy for them to topple over as a toddler carries it across the room. My daughter is 3.5 and has had fun building cupcakes for me though. I wish they had a cloth bag to be stored in and keep them together. Overall they are really cute but maybe more appropriate for an older kid who won’t melt into a puddle of emotion every time it falls apart.

Perfect after some necessary modifications

The media could not be loaded. First of all, this is an aesthetically pleasant play set, but I agree with other reviewers that the small parts are too difficult for young toddlers to put together. Thanks to the Amazon reviews, I prepared Krazy Glue and clear mounting tape before placing an order. I glued most of the small pieces together and only left one part open for each cupcake ( I picked the easiest ends since my kid is only 23 months) It took me less than 5 minutes and now the play set is much more toddler friendly! Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and I would recommend it as long as parents are willing to spend extra time doing a little modification.

Cute wood set. Lots of pieces

These are fun little cupcakes cakes,, but the candle does not stay in. The bottom pieces are a bit tricky to tell which way is up to place in the liner. But the quality of wood and paint is durable. My grandkids enjoy playing with them.

Falls apart too easily

Nice looking little set. The issue we faced is that the pieces, specifically the candle, don’t interlock very well. It’s almost balancing on top of the cupcake. The pieces feel of high quality but the assembled cupcakes fall apart very easily.

A bit disappointed

I love wooden kitchen accessories to go along with our collection we’ve got. They get a lot of use in our home. These are a bit of a flop in my opinion. I had such high hopes and they looked so nice. My daughter does play with them but they are frustrating because they don’t stick together well. The holes/pegs that make the cupcake pieces stack are not long enough so the pieces don’t stay together well and just all fall off. Would be better with longer pegs or if they could “click” together in some way. No good when she pretends to make me a cupcake or her babies and the thing falls apart!

Great wooden toy for toddler but design could be better

These are lovely wooden cupcakes my daughter loves playing with these. However, the candle keeps coming off it does not stay in place and that really frustrate her.

Garbage

Don't buy it I got it on sale fortunately but it horrible.. Should have read the reviews. Pieces dont stay together. You move it a little and topping fall off.

Not worth the money

It arrived with two broken pieces. The pieces don’t actually fit together. You have to balance it. The colours are great and you can use it in different ways but the durability lets it down. Really quite a shame. Strangely the seller ask for a comment on ‘flavour’ !!! Obviously they’re made of wood…

Adorable but poorly made

Got these for my daughter’s 3rd birthday as she loves play cupcakes/desserts. They are absolutely adorable——but as all the other reviews mention, fall apart and don’t stay together at all. Either the holes are too big or too small and they fall apart. Had my husband who is a woodworker fix them before we gave them to her so she wouldn’t get frustrated. Poorly designed unfortunately
