Are these rejects?! Super small and wouldn't fit my head!

I've used and worn Headsweat shortys for years for cycling, but had always previously bought them directly from the company. Found these at half the price and ordered 3. They look legit, but they would not fit my head at all. I checked the label to see if they were a smaller size or made for children, but looks no different than my other ones. I had to cut the top open to expand the room for my head and eventually cut all the top off and turned it into a headband rather than a beanie. I was going to return the other 2, but my spouse tried them on and they fit her small head, so she decided to keep them. Be warned. The sale was too good to be true. Buy direct from the company.
