Holds Humidity for this Noobie

I bought this for my husband and we love it. I maintain this humidor as my husband travels for a living. We live in Alaska, which has an arid atmosphere; especially in the interior where we live. I followed a curing technique that I will quote and I use an Oasis electronic humidifier. I am a noob but I have no problem keeping the humidity up, so much so I've even managed to mold an inexpensive cigar during my experimentation phase. I did notice the drawer not closing completely due to my uneven floor but that was resolved by placing thin tiles under the front legs. In addition, the solid wood construction is absolutely beautiful. Here is the advice I followed before putting cigars into my humidor: "Question, did you cure it before use. Something someone showed me, take a CLEAN sponge and soak it with 70/70 and wipe all the CEDAR inside the Humi. Let it sit and rinse and repeat till it is stable at 70. Then you can use it. You have to do this with every Humi before use. Hope this helps."

Not bad

So far this unit has kept the humidity. There is however a dark area in the bottom when I received it. The only negative thing is it is not easy to reach cigars in the back as the drawer doesn't fully open.
