Bargain basement puzzle with some redeeming values

I wanted to like this jigsaw puzzle. The picture is beautiful as would be indicated by it being part of the manufacturer's "Photographic Collection". I was a bit concerned by the lower than average price, however. Puzzle pieces (and I would guess box) are made from recycled cardboard. Very cheap. I have never seen so much cardboard dust in a puzzle box. There was no plastic bag for the pieces. They were secured by heavy glue on all box side surfaces. Very difficult to get through the glue without damaging the box. However, I am glad to report, there were no missing pieces. The puzzle pieces are thin and the recycled material causes the stuck together puzzle pieces to separate in layers when detached from one another, though the top picture layer remained intact. The surface picture does look good. Included was a larger than usual poster which was very clear with high color and spatial resolution. I can imagine that its difficult to output a quality jigsaw puzzle these days for around $15, but I would pay a bit more (but not Ravensburger more) for a quality puzzle. Going extremely cheap (or 'green') isn't the product I would want to purchase in the future.

Pieces fit together perfectly. Very challenging 9n the water and rocks. Sky and mountains were pretty easy. Loved the puzzle.
