I have 3 kids and this is my third diaper bag. My first was a JuJuBe messenger style bag. I loved the quality and colors and it held up beautifully until I had a second baby and needed more space. I upgraded to a SkipHop Grand Central bag which was great until my third baby was around 9 months old. After that it was simply too big and cumbersome to use. By now our days were different. I had one child potty trained, one almost potty trained but exclusively in undies and a third starting potty training but in pull-ups. Also, our outings were becoming longer day trips as naps lessened. And with three kids literally running circles around me, I needed my hands free more now than in the past. This backpack is perfect in every way but a few small things. First it was cute. I know that sounds silly, but I still wanted my bag to be attractive and the black rose design was nice enough that if we were heading to a wedding and I had to dress up, it didn't look out of place. At the same time, I can wear leggings and sneakers and it still works. We are frequent travelers and this bag is small enough to fit the "personal item" requirement that some airlines adhere to. It fits perfectly underneath the airplane seats when stuffed full. I like the slimmer design when wearing (I'm a short, 5' person and many bags make me look swallowed up). The full open zippers make it easy to find something and the front exterior pockets are great for my personal items. I love that the bag is large enough to hold my laptop or tablet and planner if I'm heading somewhere for work. For the kids, there's enough space for water bottles, snacks, a wet bag with a change of clothes for each child, crayons and a coloring book, lunch items if needed, etc. We have always had enough space for whatever I needed to pack for a day trip out. It also had stroller hooks (found inside a mesh pocket. I didn't find them until we were partway through a trip so you really have to dig in to locate them). The fabric can be wiped clean and the bag is machine washable. There's a changing pad also included. For the price point, this bag is well made. The zippers run smoothly, the bag has thus far held it's shape and it's comfortable to wear, even when full, for long periods of time. I do think it's lacking some structure that the higher priced JJB bags have but for me this isn't an issue (pending it can hold it's shape) as we travel and a lighter bag is preferred Now for the negatives...My biggest frustration is I really hate that there isn't an exterior bottle pocket. Yes there's a zipper bottle pocket, but I want something that is one hand access to quick grab items and doesn't involve a zipper in the way. I'm finding I really miss this function. On past bags, I used this pocket for different things from water bottles to my phone pocket at the park to a quick snack pocket. The interior mesh pockets are minimal and low. For us this isn't a huge deal but it does mean that many things are stacked up in there and you have to open the whole thing to find what you want rather than feeling through the various pockets. The changing pad is flimsy and cheap compared to the higher end JuJuBe bag pads. My old JJB pad was I think memory foam make for a pretty cushy ride for the little one. This one has no lining. I liken it to a water proof liner to put between your wee one and whatever surface you're changing on. There is no padding in it. You may prefer to swap to a different pad. My youngest is now 2 and our changes are few and far between thankfully so this is really just a back up (or great for putting in carseats for potty training littles to protect the seat, or put it under your bum when the park benches are wet and your kids are playing). The stroller clips are also not great. I found it difficult to put the straps into the clips and didn't like the bag swinging from the top handle. But it does technically have them and they do technically work. Overall, I've been using this bag for a few months and really like the versatility and smaller size of this backpack. It could be excellent if it had just a few tweaks, but overall I'm happy with my purchase. If you're a parent that likes to take ALL THE THINGS with you beyond a spare change of clothes, a few toys, snacks, blanket, etc. this may feel too small. But as a mom of 3 always on the go, this is a great size to hold the necessities in one space that is also a manageable size..
