Why is it so hard to find

I search everywhere for a strong, lightweight, cushioned hand, 5 foot leash. All the "pet supply stores" I didn't want to spend a lot, but didn't want to be cheap either. These leashes are as described. Perfect for walking my two pups. One is a Stafford terrier mix, the other Italian greyhound. Just what I needed.

Leash flexes

Not a bad leash, but the material seems to stretch and flex under strain. I would prefer a tighter weave to avoid that--I don't like the dog realizing that when he meets resistance on the leash, if he just pulls harder, he goes farther. We use this as a backup, and it seems fine--I don't have any worries about him snapping it or anything like that.

Very comfortable to hold on to

Its a comfortable to hold leash....but my puppy is still very excitable and often takes the leash in her mouth. I dont see any signs of wear but I think that I will have to buy a bite proof leash(chain) and put this one up until she is a little older

Super strong, great material durable hardware easy on the hands

This is a great leash. I’ve had it for quite some time now and it still looks great! It shows no signs of wear & tear. I have a 4yr old lab pit mix who is very strong! This leash is very comfortable to grasp and the hardware is extremely durable. I have it in the bright orange color which hasn’t really shown any signs of dirt considering I’m at the dog park once and sometimes twice a day ... still nice and bright! I would purchase again. I also have the matching harness also an excellent product.

Good for non chewers

Overall we liked this leash, comfortable to hold, but a few bites from our pup and it was cut in two. Would recommend for mild mannered, non chewing dogs.

Don't buy for Chewing Dogs

My dog -- a retriever -- likes to carry the leash in his mouth for the first few hundred yards of his walk. He often does the same thing at the end of his walks. This leash, which I have had for about 7 months, literally broke in two as we were approaching the house last night. I have had multiple leashes through the years, but this was the first one I have ever had that a dog chew right through. As such, I can't recommend it. Look elsewhere.

Good quality for the price

I ordered this because it seemed good quality and well made, plus wanted it to feel good and not rough on the hands like so many other brands end up being. I have used this leash for months now and it's just great and seems good as new. Due to the price I actually purchased another one recently, which I have as a spare. I think it might be a long while before having to use the spare one as my first purchase has exceeded my expectations and is going to last a long time!!

STURDY LEAD THAT IS A PLEASURE TO HOLD

I bought this lead for exercising my larger dog. It's a very sturdy and well made lead. When I need him to stop pulling me towards other dogs and settle down, it works well as it is well made and can handle some "tug and pull". Unlike my other leads, this one has lovely padding and is very comfortable to hold. Highly recommend.

Like the length of this leash and the sturdiness too. The handle loop is a good size as well. We are pleased with it.

Very strong

It is very strong, even for a chewer. I only wish that the hand loop for holding it was smaller, as I have to wrap it around my hand so it does not slip off.
