A great place for trash!

This trash can works fine to keep pets from pulling out the trash, especially my little dog who is quite nosy!

It's alright

It will work fine. We needed a bathroom trash with a lid to keep the dog out. It's pretty small, so it will need more emptying. Also, it doesn't work to motion close ours. But it auto closes after a few seconds anyway. It's not really hefty. I'll be surprised if it's not broken in a year or two.

DOES NOT INCLUDE WALL PLUG, TAKES AA BATTERIES

Feels like it's made with as little plastic as possible. On the one hand, that's good. On the other hand, if you paid full price for this, you got ripped off. DOES NOT INCLUDE WALL PLUG. TRASH CAN COMES WITH A SLIP OF PAPER TELLING YOU TO GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND BUY ONE.

Super trash can, very small size, perfect for bathroom.

I've had one in the kitchen for around 15 years and wanted a very small one to fit in the bathroom. This one is the perfect size. The sensor has a sufficient delay of a couple of seconds and a very close range so you don't accidentally open it and stuff falls in off the counter. That's why I got it. Always paranoid of things falling into an open trash can, and my sweetheart didn't like a step-on-can (it was brushed aluminum, I thought it was great). So, I got this so she can't complain about having to do anything other than put her hand near the sensor and wait a second. You can't place it flush against a wall, because when the lid opens, the lid sticks out further back than the can itself. I put a 3-inch block of foam behind it, so the can doesn't get pushed against the wall. (Took it from a computer box packing). I haven't figured out where to buy the perfect sized bags for it, as I don't like the top edges blooming out and visible. And I don't want to pay high prices for perfectly-sized bags. So, still looking for that. Oh, and like my kitchen iTouchless can (which is on it's second lid - first one wore out the gears after 10 years), the lid seals very well and keeps all odors inside the can. So much so that you'll go weeks and forget to empty it because you're not using it much and never smell anything. Highly recommend this. Also, strongly recommend only the iTouchless brand. Other similar ones are cheap, more plastic parts, and simply won't last years and years like iTouchless. I'm just a happy user who hates "cheap junk". I want things to work perfectly and I don't want them to every wear out. Well, if something lasts 10+ years and the price didn't increase too much when I have to buy it again, I'll accept that.

A Great Can for Living Alone!

Love this little garbage can! It's motion detection that can be used via batteries or wall plug. I have the wall plug option that I bought from another seller and it works fine. I got the can used. It comes with the can, lid, the odor helpers, and a bag liner. You can go on the official site of the can to buy replacements for the item itself or the odor supplies. So far there are no issues. Highly recommend!

Works well! Be careful of placement or it might confuse the sensor.

Use this as my "green bin" for food scraps and related items. I place this in the under sink cabinet and it works quite well. NOTICE! If you place it directly under your metallic sink, it may confuse the sensor causing it not to close after opening. I have mine placed about 2 inches from the edge of the cabinet door and it works fine. There is an access port on the right side which holds a bit of fragrance and a tiny bag of carbon. Given we use it as a "green bin", it doesn't do much. The opening is a bit small but does the job. The garbage can has a bag retaining ring which is a huge plus. In the picture, it's the black part between the stainless steel body and the white/silver top unit. There is a manual open/close button if for some reason you want to push buttons. Overall, it's a keeper and I've only taken one star off for the small opening. If they did away with the gimmicky scent holder and expanded the opening, it would be FIVE STARS.

Makes life easier

This is awesome. I have a motion detection for my garbage can, but I use this small one for my compost. How many times do I need my 2 hands to clean off my plate and have to put something down to lift the gross lid and put it down somewhere. Fits the small compost bag really well. Easy to clean, spray cleaner inside, wipe down and let dry before I put my new bag in. Worth the money.
