Worth the $$

My first several pairs lasted for 7 years, and I wore them almost every day. They are warm, they don’t itch, and they are made significantly better than similar socks by other brands. They are thin enough to wear with boots but not so thin that they aren’t cozy. I highly recommend!

Hole after 1 wear

These socks have so much potential (light enough for everyday wear but with some cushion in the heel and toe for longer walks or shorter hikes). Unfortunately after one wear, the seam along the toe started to unravel forming a small hole. I’m so disappointed!!!

Durable, comfy and warm

I bought my first pair of Merino Icebreakers at REI 10 years ago and still love them. So I was excited to find them on Amazon and got 2 more pairs. These socks are perfect, they are black, warm, and do fine in washer/dryer.

Best quality warm sock out there.

I have been wearing these for about eight years and there’s not any wear showing on the heel or anywhere else. They keep my feet dry and warm. They are expensive, but they are worth it! They do pill ball a bit though.

I was worried that these might not be worth the money, but they really are great. I live in a tropical climate, and although these sock are very thick, they are some how cool too, and I dont feel too hot in them at all. I'm taking one start off because they are a little bit tight around the ankles (though I guess the will stretch over time) and they are pricey. Will defintely buy some more though, these are far better than any other pair of socks I have ever worn.

Good socks. I would buy again.

They're not bad. I bought these along with a pair of Minus33 socks and a pair of Fox River socks. I wear wool socks to work everyday. The fit was nice, and they are a better quality then my Smartwool black socks. I preferred the Fox Rive socks to these, but I would by these again.

The only reason I am giving them 4 instead of ...

The only reason I am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars is because the elastic at the top is a little too tight and leaves an impression on my legs after a few hours of wear.

Nice quality but I would have preferred it to be a little higher or lower.

Nice mid cushion quality however, on my 5'4" frame it seems to come up to the widest part of my leg and feel odd there. I am 137 pounds so I think I am average. I would prefer the height to be higher or even lower so that it doesn't rest right on the bump of my calf muscle.

Best Socks

Icebreaker socks are second to none. After wearing my first pair of Icebreaker socks, I have had to toss all of my other socks. Icebreaker socks are comfortable to wear all day. My feet never feel soggy or uncomfortable. Breathable wool is outstanding as a fiber for your feet.

Best Socks Ever - beste Socke, die ich je hatte

Mehrere paare zum Skifahren mitnehmen! Die Füße bleiben in diesen weichen und warmen Wollsocken die nicht-fusseln und nicht-einschrumpfen bei 40 Grad-Wäschen trocken (nach dem Waschen im gut feuchten Zustand in die Länge ziehen und in die Breite dehnen) und riechen-nicht.

immer kalte Füße, im Sommer sicher angenehm..

Die Socken lassen sich angenehm tragen, der Fuß fühlt sich durchgehend eher kalt an, weshalb ich die Socken im Winter wohl nicht mehr tragen werde. Im Sommer beim Wandern z.B. aber sicher angenehm. Schwitzen tun meine Füße aber trotzdem
