Perfect for closet

I used this to replace an old pull chain bare-light bulb fixture in my closet. It looks so much nicer, and the motion sensing is tuned just right. I have purchased motion sensing light bulbs previously, but I found them all to be way too bright. They would also obnoxiously turn on when I didn't intend to turn them on. The smallest version of this light has the perfect amount of brightness for a small closet. I can open the door at night and not be blinded. And if I accidentally leave my closet door open, the motion sensor doesn't trip on unless I actually approach close to the entrance. I'm very happy with this light and plan to get more of them for other closets with pull-chain fixtures.

Great little light fixture

The wife wanted a 2' x 2' closet electrified with an outlet and small light fixture to turn on when the closet door was opened. I had the outlet figured out, but had to hunt for this light fixture as could turn on and off automatically (with motion), be bright enough to light the closet nicely, and without being an oversized fixture. Good pick on my part. I mounted the fixture about 6 1/2' up the interior sidewall... and was able to electrify the light without a concern for an occupancy (on/off) sensor too. Final outcome? Happy wife. Happy life.

I got this light as a replacement to a traditional light in the walk in closet. Pull chain works well. Light is bright. Easy to install.

Must be ceiling mounted

These are nice fixtures but for a closet, they must be mounted on the ceiling above the door. They will not trigger if you mount them on the wall above the door. We do a lot of hand waving.

Nicely made light; surprised it wasn't cheap junk

The appearance and construction of the light exceeded my expectations - the exterior finish looks nice and the plastic cover over the lamp is more than just the minimum level of plastic. Feels like a step up from the non-name imported junk that's so prevalent today. Lighting output is OK and the sensor works well for a closet light. Notably the light doesn't trigger every time you walk past the closet; you have to actually enter the space to trigger the light. I've installed two of these in sliding door type clothes closets replacing battery power motion sensing lights. Happy so far.

Doesn't stay on long enough

Works well when sensing motion, and the light is decent for brightness, but it doesn't stay on long enough while you're still moving around in the motion area

We bought this to replace another model and brand that died on us during a power failure. This came highly rated, was easy to install (I did it myself) and works great. I would highly recommend.
