Poor quality, crystal lens fell out.

We never actually got these working as we ordered 8 of them and 5 had the problem that the crystal lens that sits on top of the circuit had come unglued (each one has three lights and in some cases all three were disconnected). This could just be a bad batch, but saw it across two different orders. For $100 per light, you expect better quality. Switched to Newhouse for half the cost.

This is not the "cheap"" that ends up in the "garbage heap"

There is a saying I am told that ... "the cheap ends up in the garbage heap". I went cheap for 4 years with a very simple halogen spotlight for my address monument that is embedded in my brickwork on a focal point in front of my house. The halogen bulbs had to be replaced every 2-4 months and the cost added up. I am absolutely OK with my pay-back or break-even for this purchase being about 4 years versus the cost of halogen bulb replacements. The Spotlight is a clean and easy to install unit. The light is focal within a few feet versus the scattered effect of the halogen light that I had. The light is very white versus the not-as-white light of the halogen that I had. Overall I am satisfied. It was tricky to install this light on a Ceiling Box Cover (purchased separately at Home Depot) as the base diameter of this unit doesn't allow room for the heads of screws that you need to fix the ceiling box cover to the ceiling junction box. I just bought a raised-type Ceiling Box Cover that results in an installation where this unit is separated a bit (not flush) from the surface of the Ceiling (or soffit in my case).
