Very good for the cost

I needed a small pointing trowel for a quick one-off concrete repair. I bought this trowel to modify as a pointing trowel was 5x the cost. After a quick bit of grinding it became a pointing trowel and did the job like a champ. I had originally planned to trash the trowel after the work was finished but the tool was good enough quality to take home after the job.

Great starting trowel!

Solid little trowel for the price point! I got the matching set (as in I purchased the M-D margin trowel as well). Really great for someone just getting into a bit of masonry repair like myself! I use a putty knife to take off as much of the sticker as I can, and then use goo gone to remove the rest of the adhesive. Cleans it up perfectly. Remember to coat your tools in wd-40 or some other oil (in researching corrosion inhibitors, regular wd-40 worked quite decently, better than mineral oil) before storing to help prevent rust - all steel rusts, especially masonry tools. Take care of them and they'll last a long time, even the cheap ones. For what it's worth, the dollar tree sells matching black & yellow putty knives.

Nice trowel

Nicely-finished stainless blade with sturdy handle. Only needed for a single job, but should hold up well.

This is fantastic for gardening and planting. It is sharp and has worked nicely for 2 large but detailed garden projects. Taking small plants out was easier digging with this point. And planting irises just barely under the surface was made easier with this tool compared to a normal rounded trowel. Works great!
