GoreTex is silly

GoreTex is just a stupid and expensive plastic that doesn't breathe (they completely lie, do the research) and breaks down in a year. So the GoreTex part of this garnent is just crazy expensive and falls apart. The full length zippers are good.

Excellent

Lightweight, easy to hike in, and waterproof. I wear these at work all the time in the morning when the brush is wet from dew or overnight rain. Unlike some rainpants these are very easy to move in.

Excellent product

I have three sets of overtrousers. The ones for the bike just don't work with boots, but then, I don't cycle in boots. The Berghaus GoreTex overtrousers are great, the best for day walks in pouring rain. The Marmot product is the best for backpacking. They are light, really easy to put on and they keep my legs dry from rain and condensation.

Great value, versatile, waterproof overtrousers

Lightweight and very easy to get on over boots as the zip goes all the way up the leg. Slightly bulkier than the half zip version, but much easier to get on over boots - especially when muddy. Great value for good performance branded overtrousers

Light and functional!

I bought these along with Marmot's Precip Eco jacket (same excellent material, waterproof and breathable). Like all Marmot clothing, good quality but a bit overpriced IMO (hence 4 stars). I wear 30/32 in Levi's and the M fits perfectly. The trousers have a discreet 'marmot' logo and nothing else, which I like since I hate garish logos, hi-vis strips etc. I have been cycling with the over trousers in pouring rain and once at home I couldn't see a single water stain on my jeans. These pants have three real pockets and full zips (YKK). I managed to fully open both legs at home (not easy at first TBH!), once out in blasting wind was even harder.

Excellent for dog walking.

Very easy to put on with the side zip and the leg zips making it very easy to put on over wellington boots. Very waterproof and lightweight.

Brilliant

Excellent waterproofing over trousers. They’re waterproof which was evidenced when I walked my dogs for nearly two hours in a a downpour. What I really like is the design of the zipper on the side of the leg. Another brand I used has designed the zipper in a way in which it gets caught on material not with these trousers. Highly recommend.
