Perfect fit for Murray 22 inch blade part number 406713

Perfect fit for my 9 year old Murray. The blade did not hit or rub on the deck of the mower, but it is a tight fit. I believe the original blade had about a 1/2 inch, 45 degree cut on the wings to prevent hitting the deck. I may grind the wings down similar to the original.

It fit my craftsman lawnmower

I purchased this on-line because I could not find a replacement locally. I like the value and it fit with no problem and works great. This was after I bent the original. So, it was a replacement.

22" Blade for a Craftsman 625 Series Lawnmower

Easy to install. Need a 9/16" wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the old blade on. I was surprised that I had to sharpen the blade before installing it. As the blade comes painted in all black. I guess the paint keeps the blade from rusting while in storage. Anyway, I had to grind the paint off the cutting edge before installing the new blade. Otherwise, a simple process to remove old blade on put the new one on.

save your money, don't buy.

I have a 22" Side-Discharge Craftsman with 6.75HP Briggs & Stratton engine. The blade hits the side of the mower deck depending on how the body of the mower flexes. Sometimes it doesn't hit, but when I make a turn, it'll hit the deck and make a terrible noise. I'd return this if it wasn't already used and on my mower deck. I'm going to grind off some corners and see if that helps. Pretty disappointed with this blade as it claims to be a direct replacement.
