As advertised - simple and effective.

I installed 20+ of these on my deck rail posts to help firm them up. The post bolts are old and would break when attempting to tighten them up - so I went with this L bracket to help secure the posts. They worked great. NOTE: If you are using an impact driver, take it easy when driving in the lag bolts - I did break off one head when I over tightened it.

Bent wrong way update

The brackets are heavy enough and will serve their purpose however the finished side won't be visible. This wouldn't be a issue for a outside corner however not for a inside corner as advertised and using them for the purpose they were designed for. That being said the iron plate should be finished on both sides prior to bending so they could be used as a outside or inside bracket. I understand they are designed in Canada and made in China so either a incorrect or missed step in China or a incorrect design in Canada. Update: I called Nuvo without a answer besides greeting and V.M. box. I then sent Nuvo in Canada a email containing same information about the product. Haven't heard back yet. Either no one around or don't care. I'll keep updating until O hear something about the product issue.

Easy install

Screws scratched slightly when installing however easy touch up

Look great but hardware not

The clips are heavy duty but the screws sheared off as I was tightening. THis left me with no head to the screw and no way to get it out.

Good bracket, awful screws

The screws that come with these brackets are faulty and unsafe. We used roughly 10 until we were forced to purchase different screws. 7/10 of the screws provided snapped in half as they were being inserted into the wood.
