Much darker than the photos indicate.

I really like the construction of these bibs. Nice sturdy zippers too. The only problem, and why I deducted a star, is that they are much darker in real life. Dark like real military/hunting camo. I prefer to be easily identifiable on the slopes and my family says from a distance these are just too dark and indistinct from basic black. I'd never wear them off piste either - that's someplace where I want to be as visible as possible should any problems occur..

Theses are quality.

Very happy with these snow pants. I don't have any complaints which is rare. I didn't buy them for snowboarding but my -100C Baffins are some beefy boys and needed the wide legs to fit over so these worked. I've found them warm to about -20C with just a thermal base layer. I've comfortably had them down to -36C camping with thermals, insulated pants, and then these as my outer shell for snow, wind, and some additional insulation. They also seem to resist sparks fairly well. No burn holes after sitting around a softwood wood campfire for a couple nights. I doubt they're actually fire resistant though so be careful with your investment if you intend to wear them around the fire.
