Perfect for bridal gift baskets

The OGGI Cheers 'Celebrate Collection' Stainless Steel Insulated Wine Tumbler is a lovely addition to a bridal gift basket. It is easy to hold and works for more than just wine. It is incredibly easy to clean, its just not dishwasher safe.

Better for larger hands

I’ve heard raves about lidded stainless steel insulated wine tumbler/coffee mugs, so I ordered two different ones for comparison: one from the OGGI Cheers 'Celebrate Collection' (White Gold Marble, at left in photo) and one from GTZKFY (their no pattern version; offered only in a metallic rose color, at right in photo). All in all, I prefer the one from GTZKFY. Performance: Both performed well with hot and cold beverages, but my tests were an hour or under. The OGGI lid is thicker, so perhaps that makes a difference over longer periods, but both sealed well. The lids kept gnats and other flying insects out of my wine when drinking outdoors—perhaps even more valuable than the temperature management! Using a lid is way less annoying than constantly placing a little silicone drink cover over the acrylic wine glasses we use outdoors. Both tumblers and lids went through the dishwasher just fine. Features: The GTZKFY tumbler came with a metal straw and cleaning brush, a big plus in my view, although I recommend users add a silicone tip to any metal straw to manage temperatures and avoid bumping your teeth. No extras came with the OGGI cup, but that one does have a rubber disk on the bottom—none on the GTZKFY tumbler—if that matters to you. I prefer a no-disk style since I find those disks come off eventually, but I haven’t sent the OGGI tumbler through the dishwasher enough to comment on that. Look and Feel: A winning aspect of the GTZKFY tumbler for me is that it fits my palm well and isn’t heavy. My hands are not small, but the OGGI tumbler is just slightly larger so that I can’t easily cup it in my hand. The OGGI size is fine for my husband. It’s also a little heavier, which didn’t bother my husband either, but was a bit of a negative for me when it was full of liquid. The “marble” look of the OGGI cup is just OK—kind of interesting but not especially high-end, if that’s the goal. The finish very matte and feels smooth but kind of “dry.” The GTZKFY cup has a fairly smooth surface, just feels a teeny bit grainy from the metallic finish. Value: The GTZKFY tumbler is almost half the price of the OGGI tumbler, which makes it a better value for me when coupled with the features I liked better as well.

Great for chilled wine!

The OGGI Cheers ‘Celebrate Collection’ Stainless Steel Insulated Wine Tumbler is a very good insulated tumbler. It has a nice capacity for a larger individual drink, or a drink with ice. The size is comfortable for my medium sized hand and the marbled pattern is more attractive in person than in the product pictures. This excels with cold drinks and is only ok with hot, but in my opinion, you really only need this to work for an hour or two at a time given that it is not for transport. I tested how long ice water would stay iced and then cold in a warm room. The ice lasted over 10 hours (at least a little bit of ice lasted that long) and then the water stayed chilled a long time, overnight actually. Pretty impressive. A hot drink stayed hot for about one hour and then was lukewarm within four hours. The closable plastic lid is great as a solid splash guard when moving around and to keep bugs out when you are outside, but be aware that it is not a leak proof seal for transport in a bag. The lid does stay on well, so no worries about it falling off and dousing you as you try to drink. This tumbler has a good soft base to provide nonskid stability and protect your furniture from scratches. I do get some condensation along the top edge where the double wall comes together, but the rest remains condensation-free. Overall, an attractive and useful tumbler to keep your drinks the proper temperature.

Lid not leakproof but keeps beverages cold

Unfortunately—as is the problem with all wine tumblers I've tried—the lid is not completely leakproof. Some are egregious and leak from around the edge as you're drinking. This one at least doesn't do that, but with the lid in the closed position, liquid will leak out if it's turned on its side/upside-down. They make other travel mugs that have solved this problem, so I'm not sure why every "wine tumbler" I've tried has this same issue. On to the good: I love the look of this white/gold marble tumbler. Classy & unique. It does manage to keep beverages cold for at least a reasonably long time. I haven't tried to test how long it'll keep stuff cold, but it wasn't an issue while drinking some chilled wine I'll update if I have any issues with durability, but so far so good.

keeps it cool

My upstairs neighbor is a bit of a wino so we thought this would be a fun extra Christmas gift for her. I don't care for the look (60s Formica bathroom counter) but she says it works great and stumbles around with it in her hand all the time keeping her wine cold. Too bad its red wine.

Love this! Pretty and useful

I have a few of these insulated cups and I really like them. I was glad to add this to the collection. They are perfect for sipping wine or other beverages outside in the pool or hot tub. I also find them useful when I am slowly sipping wine or another drink while socializing or cooking. The insulation is great and keeps the beverage at the right temperature for a long time. The cover helps to keep the insects out when outside and protects from spilling (although not 100%). This one is very attractive. Having different designs allows me to tell my drink from the other people's.
