Very light

Functional, quality is ok

It is functional as a storage trunk, but I wouldn't leave heavy objects in it. I was disappointed with the quality of the wood - think and rough. I will have to sand it down. Also, the color is darker than it appears in the picture.

I really like the trunk. It's super cute. However I misjudged it's size. My intention is to use it as a coffee table. As it is smaller than I realized even after checking its dimensions, I will keep it for storage and order the larger one soon. L.G.

Covered in mildew

So not only does it have cracks in it at the bottom and it’s uneven so it doesn’t sit properly. It smelled damp as when looked at furthe it was covered in mildew that took me 30 minutes to clean off and was stuck in cracks so it wasn’t easy. Unless you have lots of money to waste which I don’t, don’t bother. It’s crap and looks super cheap. I could deal with the cracks but the mildew is disgusting. It’s unfortunate I got it as a gift for someone and now can’t give it.

Beautiful Item! Perfect for a child's room

This is the perfect item for what I wanted. We redid our daughters room in a Moana theme and wanted a treasure chest. one that she could use for keepsake items when she gets a little bigger (she is 5). The chest is exactly as described! it makes a cool three click sound as you crank open the lid which she loves. It is made with strong hardware that only allows the lid to open straight up so it doesn't fall backwards once lifted. It smells absolutely amazing since it's real wood. Very lightweight!
