Just What I needed

Didn't realize just how massive of a wrench this was when I ordered it and was pretty surprised when it got here. I needed it to take the rear sprocket off my bike so that I could clean it and re lube the rear hub bearings. Don't think I could have gotten the thing off with any smaller of a wrench so this turned out to be perfect.

Great wrench for fan clutch removal

Great value for fan clutch removal. Adjust to fit tight on fan clutch nut, give a few taps with hammer to loosen, that's it. This wrench was perfect to do this on a 20 year old truck.

One Big Wrench

I was installing a tow ball on a new drop down hitch and needed bigger tools that I had. The Olympia Tools Adjustable Wrench was needed to hold the ball from spinning while tightening the nut. Worked great and had enough heft to it that it felt comfortable under the load that was being applied. The adjustable jaws were not as precise as a more professional model but it was fine for what I needed. Worth the price.

Llave ajustable de acero forjado ( forged steel ) de 15 pulgadas a muy buen precio, muy resistente y de buena calidad, abre hasta 51 mm aproximadamente. Las otras marcas andan en el doble del precio. Compra 100 % recomendable !

Herramienta calidad media

Herramienta de acuerdo a su precio. Muchas rebabas y detalles en el metal. Por $350 no se puede pedir más. Lo que me llamó la atención fue que en la página oficial de OLYMPIA Tools dice que su herramienta es hecha en Vietnam, lo que me llego es hecho en China.

Sturdy with lots of torque!

I needed to replace the clutch on a second-hand scooter, and there was a very stubborn large-diameter nut that I was not able to remove using any readily-available tools. I broke an oil filter wrench trying to remove it. Went on Youtube and found a recommendation for a 24" spanner, so I got this. Snugging the jaws of this wrench around the nut, and then holding the clutch and wrench together and giving the end of the handle a few good whacks against a large boulder, the nut finally came off. The handle and jaws showed no signs of any damage at all, although the jaw tended to loosen after one or two strikes against the rock. It would probably hold up fine for a less abusive job. It got mine done where other tools failed so I'm happy!

doesn't open 2-1/2 inches

doesn't open 2-1/2 inches as advertised, the whole wrench is bent, big curve in it, had to put it in the press a few times to make it straight and made an other groove in it to make it open 2-1/2. other than that it works fine.
