Safe

While I would never take my hands off my 2 year old son, this gave me more peace of mind while we were playing in the pool while I was holding him. (General safety information, never leave child unattended as small children can drown in 2 inches of water.)

Fit well

This fit my 5 month old well and he was pretty comfortable in it - no complaining. I definitely felt more comfortable with him being in the water, even shallow, with a good vest.

Baby wears it with no complaints

My 6 month old who is 17lbs fit great in this with room to grow. He never complained about wearing it and easily fell asleep on the boat while wearing it. You can tighten straps to have it be a safe and snug fit.

Favorite fit from newborn to toddler!

We love Stohlquist for our babies first life vests! From 2 weeks old to about 3 yrs old. Great for the boat, easy to use, comfortable fit, easy to clean. This is our 3rd one in this style and size for our 3 little ones. They have never complained or minded them and fall asleep easily in them with the comfortable neck support while we are under way. If used for swimming or in the water you definitely need to still supervise them closely and be within reach so they don’t turn the wrong way, but that’s with any life vest. We mainly use them for boating and when the kids are playing on deck.

If you are looking for a type 2 PDF for children who cannot swim this is NOT the PDF for you!!! This is a type 3 PDF for children who need assistance swimming. These photos are taken from the actual product. If you are looking for a type 2 PDF... Do not buy! If you are looking for a type 3 PDF this looks like a decent option (was not able to try it out). The colors are fun!!

It works!

My husband and I kayak so I bought this for our daughter. She is in Infant Swim Rescue classes and the last week of lessons, we tested this in the pool. It flipped her right side up easily and the head support made it easier for her to float. Puts me at ease if she was unconscious, the life vest would help her. As an ER RN, I have performed CPR on drowning victims so I highly recommend any safety measures from swim lessons to this vest !

Excellent Quality and the ideal life jacket for children

I bought a couple and so glad i did. This is one of the best quality child's life jackets I have found that seem to do a great job keeping my little ones safe.
