This is the best way to dispense soap. Why touch something everyone else touches after doing their business when you are trying to get clean? In the March 2011, Journal of Environmental Health published a study which showed that one in four bulk soap dispensers are infected with hazardous levels of bacteria. They also found that there was zero contamination found within sealed dispensing systems like these hands-free models. After washing with contaminated dispensers, hands had 25 times more bacteria on them!! FYI, this is the same exact dispenser as the following (aside from logo and color). Just buy the cheapest one.: Purell 2720 Purell 2729 Purell 2780 Purell 2790 Gojo 2730 Gojo 2740 Gojo 2789 Gojo 2799 Micrell 2750 Provon 2745 Some Facts: Gojo owns Purell, Micrell, and Provon. Gojo estimates up to 30,000 uses on the included C-size alkaline batteries. These dispenser accepts 1,000 mL or 1,200 mL TFX refills of gel or foam (sold separately). The trick to all of the above dispensers is that they accept any refill that has a grey nozzle. Why can't you use any other TFX soaps in these dispensers? No one knows and Gojo isn't telling. I've asked several times via their website (with no response). The only difference between the cheaper dispensers and the expensive ones is the removable color-coded "key" that is installed inside. If you want to use medical soaps in regular dispensers, you just need to replace they color-coded key, which isn't available for purchase from Gojo. Regular soaps/"sanitizers" are grey nozzle and surgical scrubs/antiseptics have a white nozzle or a red nozzle. Aside from swapping the key, I won't tell you how to bypass this. Great value!
I would have rated this higher but the fact that 1 of 2 units arrived DOA brought it down. For $12 (on sale) I dont think you can beat it for a home install. Pro's - Nice, clean look on the mirror - Little ones love it and wash their hands more often - Far cheaper than using regular foaming soap from a big box retailer - $12 for the dispenser. Awesome price - Foam dispensed does the job and is adequate to do the job Cons - Adhesive methods leave a bit to be desired. I understand it's really for commercial use and hence the need for it to have adhesion power. That, and it isnt exactly light when it's loaded with C batteries and a new soap cartridge. That said, be prepared to drill some holes or put some super duper adhesive on a mirror or wall. Once applied properly, this thing isnt moving. - GoJo made the internals modular so if it does go bad you can swap out the 'guts' in seconds rather than removing the entire thing (including the adhesive) from the wall - Quality concerns. 1 of my 2 units were DOA. I get a blinking light but the sensors appear to be dead. Very little or no technical support on the GoJo site either. There are a lots of questions from others to the moderator who has a canned reply about "forwarding your concern to Tech Support for further analysis". It would probably save GoJo time and money if they posted more feedback on such issues as it appears many other received DOA units. - Make sure you mount it above the sink counter as occasional misfires occur. I haven't had any issues with it being triggered by a light going on/off but I have mistakenly activated it when my hand passed nearby for a toothbrush. Not sure if it is the sensors reflecting off the mirror or not but I am going to tape it off for ~1" below the sensor to find out. Bottom line is that I am happy with it...just would have been nice to have received 2 working units and not have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement.

Great way to dispense soap in a controlled manner
Being sick and tired of our kids using up liquid soap so fast that I thought they must be drinking it, plus the total inability of anyone under 30 years old to recognize, let alone use "old fashioned" soap cakes without making a dreadful mess that looks like a fight had broken out in the bathroom, we bought theGOJO Purell TFX Foam Soap Dispenser w/Window, 1200mL, 6-1/2w x 4-1/2d x 11-1/4h, Gray andGojo 5361-02 1200 mL Premium Foam Handwash with Skin Conditioners (Case of 2) based on the reviews we read. The unit is easy to install on the wall either using the large adhesive pad already applied to the back, which would probably be ok on a flat surface, perhaps tiles, or by using screws. I chose the latter method as I was attaching it to a dry wall and I don't have too much faith in sticky pads, especially when adding over 2lbs of liquid soap. The unit comes with 3 c-type batteries which fit in a compartment inside and work the sensor and dispensing mechanism. Access to the batteries and the soap refill is achieved by hinging the unit down at the front, and inserting the soap container is easy. Once the soap is installed you have to prime the unit by waving your hand underneath the sensor a few times until the first dose of soap is delivered. And that's it. Simply placing your cupped hands underneath the dispenser delivers a metered dose of foamy handwash which is sufficient for a good scrubbing of the hands. So far I recommend this unit wholeheartedly. I will update when the first refill is exhausted, which should be 1000 dose, but let's see...

Works with refill # 5770 CAN.
Just like its "purell" branded counter part, it does its job well. The black gojo TFX dispenser is a great buy (price/performance). Adhesive is strong (let it sit on the wall for atleast 12 hrs for full adhesion). It is compatible with purells 5770 CAN hand sanitizer refill. I know this because i own it. It is commercial grade, so although ive only had it for less than a week, im confident that it will serve its purpose for days to come.

Don’t know If it works because the Sanitizer is ridiculous.
I got this at the beginning of Covid and it looks like it could work the machine itself you only get the machine to dispense hand sanitizer but I was unable to get hand sanitizer because it was only available for healthcare professionals and businesses now that hand sanitizers become available it’s ridiculously expensive so now it just sits on the wall and no one uses it so they dispensing machine is cheap but maintaining hand sanitizer in it is redundant.

MIght be a 5 stars, but I am not clear of what refill to buy that fits this. It says that color must match, do that mean I am taking the risk of buying a refil that doesnt match? so I am still trying to figure it out, I hope I can get a soap refill instead of a sanitizer.

NOT hand sanitizer
This is a SOAP dispenser. We got it thinking it was for hand sanitizer. The advertising is not clear.
