Cat loves it

I have 2 cats and 1 absolutely loves it! Goes up and down it all the time. Only suggestion is when installing, put the hole to the left of the slanted piece. I had it installed liked pictured and my cat was hesitant going down it had first.

Good product, but I wish the corners were rounded to be a bit less dangerous for the cats.

Good product at a good price, but some flaws.

Overall a good product. A nice price for simple good looking wall mounted cat shelves. Good quality wall anchors are provided, but I recommend arranging them so at least one screw on each shelf goes into a stud. I was able to do this for 2 of the 3 shelves and those in the stud feel much sturdier. The one with wall anchors alone has a little wiggle, which I worry will get worse the longer my cat spends on it. My biggest complaint is that the arrangement of the shelves that is shown in the photos and video is impossible for my cat to navigate. She needs to make a really awkward turn while also climbing through the hole. She can get down if I put her up there, but sadly can’t make it up. She is not particularly large and fairly agile so I imagine a lot of cats will have this same issue. Also, I noticed after the fact that the cat in the video is never actually shown going up, only cautiously going down so now I am wondering if it was filmed like that intentionally. I will now have to do some rearranging of the shelves and patch some holes that were put in the wall unnecessarily so that is a little frustrating. But I would still recommend, just learn from my mistakes. Edit: I decided to add one more shelf to the setup which solved my issue. See second picture. I appreciate that you can purchase them separately as well. I definitely recommend, just keep in mind that the suggested setup might not work for your cat.

Peeling

I’m mostly happy. The brown color is nice, the issue I’m having is the brown grain look is all a sticker. The shelf that has a hole in it is peeling and bubbled. It’s going to end up causing me issues. I could have sent back but they are installed and would have been a huge pain. Be careful and inspect each piece.

Reasonably priced and reasonably sturdy

As you can see, we purchased two complete activity shelf sets, plus one additional small and medium shelf. Unfortunately, the upper right shelf, (the big one with the hole), was very loose despite the bracket being very secure, as I used two anchors and hit one stud on the middle of each shelf, no matter the size. I contact PetFusion and they sent me a replacement for an entire set because they stand by their products! Thus, I was able return one set after the new one was sent. It must have been a simple fluke as the replacement is perfectly snug against the wall, even with the first bracket. I was absolutely thrilled and very grateful for this and their customer service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. Our boys, Chancellor and Duke absolutely love them and we are enjoying watching them enjoy themselves.

Don’t use without stud!

My one cat loves getting up as high as she can, the other one not so much. I mention this because there was never more than 10 pounds at once on it, plus we only put it up TWO days ago and it just came down as my cat was laying on the long piece. the small square I can already see is slanting down. Hopefully this didn’t just ruin her relationship with her high access points. Be very cautious if you choose to purchase

A great, modern, good-looking addition

I agree with Brian who said in his review that the order they're laid out in the picture/manual is awkward for a cat. Now I tried two versions before we settled on this one. To the right of the bottom shelf, is a window ledge. In the end... we turned over the top shelf with the cut-out so that it was facing away from the shelving. She wasn't going to use the cut-out and tbh, we're just going to get an air plant to put in there. The shelving is sturdy. We tried to go into studs but our unit is old so that was hit or miss. So we used the anchors on all three and for an 11lb cat, it's more than enough. We're very happy with these. And worst case scenario if that cat didn't use them, they would look cool just as shelving with some lightweight plants or items.

...let’s address that first. They’re expensive. Let’s face it. That said, they’re also one of those things where I got what I paid for. While directions need a bit of work, they were simple and easier than others I could’ve purchased. The shelves, which look beautiful and are incredibly sturdy, slide onto armatures you screw into the wall first. These metal anchors make them sturdy enough, I think they could possibly take more weight than recommended (though you shouldn’t). It makes installation so easy, especially with the guides and level provided. We found finding a stud in the wall the most effective and secure. Velcro puts the scratch pads and bedding firmly in place, but easily removable to clean or replace. A few treats and kitty knows just where to perch. Anywhere but there, but hey...cats. lol In the end I wanted something that would look beautiful and be functional and create diversity for the kit. Worth every penny. I will be purchasing more over time, and I highly recommend.

Crap quality.

this is not wood. It is poor quality beaver barf board. It is covered in a STICKER laminate. It is horrible - the sticker in the hole is bubbled and it looks like crap. We returned it immediately. It is worth about $30

Extremly low quality lamination

The lamination is very low quality. I assumed it would be close to Ikea level given the price, but was quite disappointed even for that standard. I was already separating out of the box, and has gotten worse now that a cat is climbing it regularly. I expect it will look ratty within a couple months. The quality issues also cause problems when putting in the screws which attach the shelf to the supports screwed into the wall. It is very challenging to get the shelves firmly attached, so there is a bit of slop. For normal shelves with static items on them, this might not be an issue, but even a few millimetres matters when dealing with the dynamic weight of a cat.

Great Kai loves them

I used a stud finder to put each one into a stud then the wall anchors on the other side. Cat seems to love them. Was easy to install once you figured out how to do the first one.

Not impressed with quality

We bought two sets. On three shelves I had to reglue the llaminate as it was peeling off. Two metal brackets did not align properly with the holes after removal so had to do a little judicious bending. For the price I expected better. Do not recommend.

Mon chat l’adore

La tablette est arrivée avec un coin légèrement endommagé, mais rien de trop grave, juste décevant. Toute la quincaillerie pour la pose est fournie, mais il n’y avait pas de gabarit dans la boîte, bien qu’il le montrait dans les instructions. En s’y mettant à deux, cela s’est quand même bien passé. L’étagère est solide et de belle apparence mais surtout, mon chat l’adore et c’est ce qui le plus important. Donc un 3 « miaou » bien senti!
