It does what it is suppose to do
I thought I couldn't find this at my local Lowe's in 1 1/2". Turns out they have it all the way to 2" and it is HALF the price as I found it here. The one thing you need to know (though most people probably already understood this) is that you have to have something to keep this coupling from slipping out. The compression is good enough to keep it from leaking, but if you don't have U bolts or something, then this will pop off with enough pressure (and 1 1/2" pipe at 55 psi is a lot of water to be leaking). My solution was to install a "T" above this coupling and use PVC straight up to the ceiling (I have a concrete ceiling in my mechanical room) and make it a tight fit, thereby leaving no room for the coupling to slip out. This worked great.

Not the correct size.
It says it’s 1 1/4” id bit it’s more like 1 3/4” id but is stamped out to be a 1-1/4”.

Incorrect size
This product is labeled (on the actual product even) as 1-1/4" but actually measures at least 1-1/2". As such, it did not work for my bathroom drain.
