Screws are not pointed

It's a good outlet cover for a good price. Works as expected but taking off one star because the screws are blunt at the end. If you have an older outlet which has some paint or caulking material covering the areas where the plate attaches you'll have to drill out the holes since the screws that come with this plate are flat-ended and do not have a point

These plates are larger than plates available in local hardware stores so they do a better job of covering imperfect openings.

Not much bigger than an average cover

This is supposed to be an XL cover but is is only 1/4 inch larger than a regular cover. If you were planning on it covering some amateur drywall work like we were, try something else.
