same problem with the other pair of Gator shears, first they are good shears, but when close the blades over lap and I have to get them fix, ( which means I have to pay to have them done, if I did not need them so badly I would have sent them back)

Solid and reliable

Geib Gators are the work horses of the "in the trenches" dog groomer like myself. Been using them for over 20 years, and have never been let down. Just beware that these shears are adjusted using a special two pronged device that is NOT included. I had one from a previous purchase (from a blade sharpening company). So either Amazon lost it or Geib didn't include it. Great buy.

Disappointing Product

My experience is do not purchase these shears. I groom five Mini Schnauzers and desperately needed this style of shear for the findings on their legs and skirts. They did not cut and caught the hair in the shear and pulled. I cannot find any other brand that I would trust.
