A great solution for a reactive dog or for one who pulls on the leash.

I have tried Gentle Leader and a couple of different harnesses on my Jack Russell but this martingale collar has proved the most effective tool in controlling him when he reacts in the presence of other dogs. A normally sweet natured, affectionate little guy suddenly turns into a thing possessed and has been able to wriggle free from other collars. When fitted correctly, and this does take a bit of time to get absolutely right, the collar tightens without choking and allows me to get his attention and also prevents him from pulling away from me. So far this has most definitely allowed me to have the most pleasant walks since rescuing my little four legged friend who obviously had bad experiences with other dogs as a puppy. I would recommend this without hesitation.

Would fully recommend

Nice durable collar that has surprisingly still fits my puppy now he is 10months old. Has endured pulling, training and baths and still looks like new (baths keep it as clean as my pup lol). Stitching is still as it was new and really can't fault it.

Great color looks wonderful on Black Dog. Only reason I only gave 4 stars is that it doesn't have a release clip. So with a fast growing puppy you need to wait until sleepy to make larger. Would only buy a collar again that has a buckle to take off the dog.
