Good fit for me, after trying two other brands/sizes.

Over the course of several weeks I tried to find new dress boots online as well as via a large super mall. After two unsuccessful attempts with Amazon - 11.5 Chucka Boot and 10.5 W Rockport Storm Surge - I landed on these Rockport Men's Northfield Waterproof Boot in the 11.5 W size. My previous boot sizes (Merrill and Timberland) would range from 10.5 W to 11. My Merrill's are brown, purchased from Dicks, are extremely comfortable and suitable for hiking, but not going out. My Timberlands look pretty good, but have been re-glued/sown about three times now and have never been very comfortable, requiring an aftermarket insole to get even close to wearable for long periods. The biggest issue I generally have is my thick instep, which makes boot shopping very frustrating. Rockport Men's Northfield Waterproof Boots fit very well with thick socks, and allow me a bit of wiggle room for comfortable wear on stage, which is their primary use. At the super mall, I tried about a dozen brands, including Dockers and some others which I found to be very uncomfortable. After being exposed to 100s of people at the mall, I came down with a bad cold, which made me glad to go back to the online option. Prices in stores are out of control too, so I am happy with this purchase all around. These Rockport Men's Northfield Waterproof Boot may not be 100% what I was after in terms of style (maybe 80%), but I wore them for a gig, a 4-hour workshop, and an 8-hr drive, and they passed with flying colors. I'd keep them around, even if I find something more stylish, which is not very likely .

The Perfect Casual Boot

Well what can I say… ROCKPORT firstly make the most comfortable boots ???? I’ve ever had!! They are so well made and good looking I’ve got both colours black & brown They are comfortable stylish and look wicked in any attire! They keep your feet cool on warm days & warm on cool days- Bloody Genius!! And to top it all off they are so light weight for boots and reasonable priced as well WELL DONE ROCKPORT!????????

Comfortable and durable

Excellent boots, it is actually my second pair of the same boots. The second pair I bought in 2017 and they are still in very good conditions. I wear them all winter.
