*****UPDATED REVIEW***** It's only been ONE DAY since we received this diffuser. We noticed that it's not engineered stably. Because there are so many movable parts forming the arm from the socket to the light's base, and because the ceramic is so heavy, a rotational force arises pulling the heavy ceramic away from the wall's outlet. Last night while on a conference call for work, I heard a loud crash in our guest bathroom. Sure enough, when I looked after the call, the light lay broken on the floor with hot (flammable!) essential oils staining our walls and floors and coating the very hot light bulb. The latter could have started a fire. This device's construction is dangerous. Buyers beware. *****ORIGINAL REVIEW***** Our family usually uses a water ultrasonic unit we bought here on Amazon nearly TEN YEARS ago to disperse EO's, but we want a unit that won't raise humidity. This one has relatively positive reviews. We were so excited on getting it that we read the instructions and immediately tried it out. The excitement died quickly. First, the outlet connector is supposed to rotate to allow you to use a grounded outlet in any direction. Our unit does NOT rotate. It stays upright only (perpendicular to floor). Next, to remove the ceramic top (to access the 15W Christmas tree bulb), you have to twist very hard to separate it from a sticky rubber or silicone seal. The seal was so strong on ours that we almost couldn't get the top off. Once we had, the seal never sealed well again. But now for the major problems. Like most EO diffusers we've tried, this one does NOT diffuse well enough that we can smell the oils unless our noses are inches away from the unit. Even then, the scent is very light unless using 2-3 droppers-full of EO--a very expensive practice over time. We tried FOUR different EO's, all work great with just a few drops in either a water diffuser or a felt pad and tiny fan diffuser. Given the amount of heat this little diffuser generates, we're very surprised. Maybe melted wax works better. But too many available waxes use additional volatile chemicals we don't want to be exposed to. The biggest problem is that the unit sits askance at about 20-degrees from the wall outlet. The ceramic is too heavy and the center of gravity too far from the wall on a flexible stem. The resulting torque on the stem pulls the device over dangerously. Since this device uses hot, flammable wax or oil, this is a hazard our family can't afford. Back to the drawing board for an EO diffuser that works well without increasing humidity.

Doesn’t produce any aroma at all I tried oil and wax

Horrible I bought four of these in the last three months and they all were horrible. I thought the ceramic one might work better, but it does not produce any aroma at all with wax or oils.
