Gorgeous. Elegant. Handmade Charm

I've been a lifelong fan of Pfaltzgraff dinnerware, namely because of it's quality. I understand that Pfaltzgraff prides itself on each piece being handmade; as such, one cannot expect each piece to be exactly like the next. There will be subtle differences between them. Such was the case between my two sets. Each set had at least one dinner plate with a less defined pattern. Do I mind? No. Does that ruin my opinion of Pfaltzgraff? No. Am I disappointed? Hardly. I expected it!! Onto my impressions of this set. OMG!! Gorgeous is an understatement. This peacock blue glaze is mesmerizing, and the pattern is elegant! We couldn't be happier! We actually bought these to replace two sets of Drew Barrymore dinnerware we had gotten on sale last Black Friday. When a plate breaks just sitting on the countertop all by its lonesome, and you feel like a bull in a china shop when using them... Then you know it's terrible quality. The Drew Barrymore set claims to be stoneware, but I know stoneware, and am usually not afraid to use it!! While we're disappointed in our Drew Barrymore dinnerware, we are thrilled to have Pfaltzgraff in our cupboards once again! We will never settle for poor imitations again!!

Beautiful plates

I really love these plates. One mug had a slight chip in it when it arrived, but it was super minor. Everything is beautiful!

Good value.

The dishes came well packaged. The plates are nice. The scalloped edges on the salad plate look great on top of the dinner plates on the table. The bowls are speckled on the inside, I wasn't expecting this and don't love it. Overall these dishes were a good value. Have only been using them for a month or so, but they are holding up well as they get daily use.

Beautiful dinnerware and great packaging

I purchased 2 Havana sets for myself for Mother's Day. It arrived very well packaged! I was impressed with the packaging because when you are ordering online, you don't want your product to arrive broken. My family loves using our new dishes. They have worked great in our dishwasher and microwave. I highly recommend this product.
