Caution bleeding under pressure

This works great, installed easy, etc - - BUT The weep hole is in the screw portion - so if you are bleeding off pressure it will spray in a circle as you loosen the screw. There is really no way to aim it at a bucket. Relieve the pressure somewhere else before opening this bleeder.

Worked as designed

Used it for the pressure vacuum breaker part of my sprinkler system. Went right on without any issues. These are great for people who don't want to mess with copper.

Add a pressure gauge

Used this for its "slip connect" feature to add a system pressure gauge to my hot water system in my house. I added an expansion tank and needed to know the system pressure. Remove the drain cap, install a 1/8 connector and a gauge with 1/8 npt male fitting and "voila" . See system pressure anytime "at a glance". Use teflon tape for a no leak seal.
