20oz body scrub/exfoliater with natural benefits

We’re making an effort to use natural or mostly natural products for health and wellness. This includes bathroom products such as soaps, lotions, toothpaste, etc. This SheaMoisture brand was recommended to me so thought I’d give it a try. The product itself works great as an exfoliater in the shower, and smells very fresh and soothing. But for ingredients some in the list didn’t look so natural at first so I took the time to research each one. Turns out, everything on this list naturally benefits the skin from moisturizing to replenishment. So knowing there are no unnecessary chemicals or additives gives us more confidence in using this hand & body scrub, definitely recommend. Must stir

I will say, in my first use I didn't stir the product enough and was left with a super grainy mess. I was so disappointed. Then I read some reviews and realized that maybe I needed to stir it and thats when the magic happened! I'm so glad that I circled back because this stuff is amazing! It makes my hands and elbows especially feel amazing!

Definitely great for exfoliating

This body scrub is definitely great for exfoliating. It's very grainy in nature, so I would only use a little but of product to start off. The smell is super nice - very tropical and coconut scented. Leaves my skin feeling really soft after use which I was hoping for. It can be a little abrasive, so just keep that in mind when scrubbing.

Very sweet scented, but soothes cracked hands

This is a large size which is great, if you’re using for hands it will last much longer than if you choose to use for the entire body. It’s very sweet at first scent. It will fade away after you wash it off a bit. It definitely has oils that moisturize the skin fabulously, with no irritations. My hands felt so soft after washing with it. It’s gray to replenish the moisture out skin has been lacking through winter. Great stuff, wish it wasn’t soooo sweet smelling though.

Wonderful!!!

I love using a good sugar scrub for exfoliating, especially on my face. I have been out of some for a while now and then I came across this one. Figured I'd give it a try. First thing I noticed right off the bat when I opened the lid was the amazing scent!! It smells beautifully!! I really appreciate that it has coconut oil in it too because I know how beneficial it can be. I did had to add a tiny bit of water to it because even after I stirred it up, it still seemed to be quite dry, which I know it shouldn't. Sometimes they are, but after stirring it up that improves. I have been using this for about a month now and wow!! It is astonishing how much softer my face is, as well as my body from using this in the shower!! This is a ton better than the last scrub I had and I have been telling everyone about it. Even my husband tried it out and loves it! I definitely recommend this for anyone because who doesn't want to have really soft and exfoliated skin?!? Try it for yourself and you will love it!!

Smells wonderful!

If you have never tried Shea Moisture products, you are missing out! I used to have a hair mask in coconut hibiscus, and it was one of my favorite scents! I was so excited to see the company makes a body scrub in the same scent! Before you use the product, make sure you stir it up. It has likely been sitting on a shelf for a while. You will want to stir it up so you get the right amount of moisture! When I used the product, I thought it felt relaxing and helpful to my skin. I needed to buff my feet with the product after using a foot peel mask, which worked well! The best part was how smooth and moisturized my skin felt afterward! After looking over the label, I can see it is a quality product without harmful ingredients. This is very important since your skin absorbs toxins from bad ingredients. I am happy they are being conscious with their ingredients! Overall a great product, and would definitely purchase again (although I doubt I need to with a tub this big!).

Your skin will be soft!

Some scrubs seem to just be more plain exfoliators without adding moisture so I was pleasantly surprised by how soft this made my skin. It seriously did make my skin look illuminated and healthy. The oil combination in this is very good as it didn't leave any greasy film behind, just soft skin. You really don't even have to apply lotion after using this in the shower unless you want a ton of moisture. I'm on the fence about what I personally think of the scent, though it has great longevity as it is still fairly strong on me four hours later.
