Read the directions very carefully before sewing

I'm an expert seamstress, but the directions for sewing this simple bag were vague and unhelpful. The pattern itself was not marked clearly for sewing lines. The directions did not have adequate photos or illustrations of how the bag should fit together when finished so that the steps to assemble it would make sense. It should have been much easier than it was. I think the directions were translated by someone from China or by a software engineer (at least not by a seamstress). Once I finished the wheelchair bag, it all made sense, but should have been written by someone with knowledge of standard sewing terminology.

Easy, great Pattern

This is a great bag pattern to use for medical walkers (rollator or front wheeled walkers), can be used on wheelchairs too.

Veteran's gift idea

every year on Veteran's Day, my husband and I visit the veteran's at the nursing home in our town. We have been doing this for about 8 years. We always try to find a useful item as a gift for them. I plan on making the hanging pocket things for their wheelchairs for each of them as this year's gift. I tried out the pattern and found it easy to use and follow the directions. My sister who is in a wheelchair loved the side hanging pockets which was easier for her to reach and use.

Useful pattern. Simple enough to work around the couple missing steps in the instructions. Read before you start. Good size and the pattern works well, the instructions are typically Simplicity and are missing a step.

Very Impressive Project

Helpful variety of items, for wheelchair or walker applications. Instructions were very clearly written and supply lists were easily understood. Result was a high quality item and I was proud to give it as a gift. Will make more of these for sure.
