Using as hockey stick racks

Bought two of these to stack horizontally and use as hockey stick display racks. Working well so far with my command strips.

COATS FALL OFF

Lovely rack but if you're buying it as a coat rack, be prepared to be constantly picking up coats from the floor that slide off the pegs. A year in, I'm planning to buy a different rack with *HOOKS* not pegs.

Lovely, but a note of caution if you will be installing more than one . . .

On the whole, this is a lovely product, especially if you just intend to buy one. The front is just slightly curved, the "hooks" are installed into the rail with screws rather than just with glue, so it seems more sturdy. The also provide screw covers, so the hardware you use to install it into the wall does not show. I appreciate those touches. I bought two, to install side by side. Where I'm a little sad about the product is in the way the two I bought don't quite line up. One is just slightly thicker than the other, and just slightly wider than the other. I'm trying to embrace it as a sort of wabi-sabi look, since the imperfection suggests to me that these were handmade in at least some steps of the process. That said, if you want two of them to perfectly line up, I would suggest you buy 3 or 4, and just be prepared to return the ones that don't match as well at the ends. They have worked very well thus far--note that we used our own installation hardware, given our walls. By the way, if you are looking for towels with hanging tabs, I found mine at Ikea, where there are a number of different styles at a range of price points. I got the least expensive towels, and they've been great (and like this wall rack, were at a great price).

Very nice but could use better hardware.

Well I gave it 5 stars because overall it's a very nice quality product that well exceeds its asking price IMO. However, mine came shipped with one peg and the screw to hold floating loose in the bag. No big deal I'll just screw it back. However, the screw wouldn't hold...the peg hole on the base is drilled in about half way through the base. The peg end that fits into the base hole is a smaller diameter. So the wider diameter of the peg fits up snug and is supported against the base. Screw goes in from the back. It appears that the screw length is a tad short if the peg hole is compromised I. Any way. Again for me no big deal I just got a longer screw. Then there are two screws with plastic anchors to attach base to wall. And two bamboo plugs to cover the screws. I'd advise tossing the screws and anchors. Screws easily strip and there are better anchors...otherwise quality product. Bamboo looks good and is asthetically pleasing. Also is a good size to hang on the back of a door.

Perfect for dog collars and leashes and sweaters and fall jackets and such

This rack works great if you don't intend to hang your entire winter wardrobe on it. It's a lightweight rack, meant for lightweight clothing or other items. The pegs are tapered, but the taper is very shallow; in my opinion they would be more useful with a more defined taper to hold things in place. The pegs do not angle upwards. They are held in place with a screw, meaning pegs can be tightened when needed. The appearance is nice, including the addition of matching wood plugs to cover the screw holes. We use one by the back door to hold dog things: leashes, collars, towels, etc. and it looks nice and works well. Measure the space where you intend to put it - pictures can be deceiving. It's 24" wide with 3 1/2" between each peg (center to center). So again, not suitable for your Mt. Everest expeditionary gear, but works well for lighter and smaller things.

Well constructed and nice looking wood rack

I purchased the natural wood, not painted, for my fitness room to mount vertically in order to hold resistance bands, gloves etc. It is well constructed. Pegs are not at all loose but individually screwed in. They supply screws, dry wall fitting if needed and little wood plugs to cover mounting screw heads. It is very nice looking and I would certainly use in a more public space if I needed to . Highly recommend. Great price.

Affordable and looks great

Great rack for the money so far. I ordered 4 to hang a bunch of my hats and helmets (snowboard, ski, motocross) and it all looks great on my wall. The bamboo is a nice look and they are sturdy. I found that each rack is slightly different sized by about 1-2cm in length but it's not an issue and not noticeable when looking at them arranged in a vertical array on my wall each a foot spaced apart. One of the four racks I ordered did not come with screws which was frustrating but Amazon gave me a partial refund which was fine. Other than the screws from the one rack, I have no complaints.
