Replaced a Peaktop PT-505

I bought this pump (‎PT-505MIX) to replace my old Peaktop PT-505 pump (shown in picture). I unplugged the black fitting/white hose from the old PT-505 and plugged it into the new pump. From the pump to the top of the waterfall is approximately 3' 9". We turned it to it's lowest flow setting because the birds like to drink out of it. There is a picture of the fountain using the new pump.

Direct replacement

Bought this to replace one in an old fountain left by the previous home owner. This happened to be the newer part number but is identical to what I removed. Easy hose hookup and our fountain came back to life! I leave it running 24/7 and so far no issues over the last month or so. I have had to clean it out once, but parts on the pump housing separate pretty easily and cleanup only takes a few minutes.

Works with the Costco fountain we bought 10 years ago

We bought a rustic looking fountain years ago from Costco. The pump just went out as well as the lights. This is the perfect pump replacement. Now the trick is to find the light replacement kit. Then it will be just like new. Great product.

Works great

The suction power is fine and motor stays under water. I just ordered this to replace my last one I burned out. The noise is masked by the flowing water sound.

You don't have to tear down your fountain/ponds, just replace the internal parts on the motor.

I have have four of these motors for different garden and pond functions around the home. I bought this motor used as an open box return and it served my purposes well as always. These motors are great because I have fountains that would have to be torn down to repair, but instead I can buy a motor and remove the internal workings and install into the old motor to get the pump going again without tearing the fountains down. Great Product!

Burned out fast

The motor burned out in less than 2 months from June 2022 purchase. I bought another one August 2022 as not expensive, and hoping this time it lasts longer.

EXCELLENT PUMP

I purchased this to replace an old pump for my patio water fountain. I was assured by the seller that it was the appropriate substitute for the 10 year old pump I was replacing, and it was. The pump was easy to install, and works very well.
