Quiet

The newspaper recommendation was right! It's efficient because it's large, but quiet because with the bigger motor, I can run it on a lower speed. It doesn't matter that the room is small; I don't even notice it.

Perfect for a 15x15 Bedroom

If you buy the remote control, DO NOT USE A DIMMER SWITCH! The remote controls the entire unit so I recommend disabling the light switch on the wall and put a blank face plate on it. Otherwise, you will get flickering and buzzing. We had an electrician install 2 of these and he made the mistake of adding dimmer switches to the light switch -- and he charged us extra for that which was completely unnecessary.
