We Can't Figure the game out

There are so many rules. We had to find a Youtube video to find out how to play, but there are just too many rules. You do this, unless another player does this etc. Very confusing.

Prefer this Classic version

I read the comments to find out that the newer version of Sorry doesn't have the original game rules as the classic, which is better. Also the newer version only has 3 pawns, not 4. I'm glad that I purchased this Classic game instead. Fast shipping. The parcel only took 2 weeks to NZ! The game board is sturdy but would have to be careful where it folds, as it is quite thinly taped. Maybe add extra tape (I used red insulation tape). I would've preferred a bi-fold board rather than quad-fold but that's minor. At least it takes up less room being quad-fold. Pawns are plastic but seem good quality and cards aren't too thin. The only down side was that it arrived with two squashed corners because it was packaged in a thin plastic bag. Sadly the game wasn't placed inside another box to protect it. Maybe to save money on shipping? Apart from that all is good. Thanks

SORRY

I think this is one of the best family games ever. I played this as a child 50 years ago and I played it now with my grandchildren and they absolutely love it.. It is in fact my favorite board game

Better quality than expected.

Bought this for my soon-to-be 5-year-old grandson for his upcoming birthday. The quality of the board is quite sturdy, better than I expected as are the cards and game pieces.

Great game

My family stayed at a cottage that happened to have the Sorry game (but an original classic board). We all learned to play and the kids loved it too. When we got back home we realized we had an updated version at our house and hated the new rules. The newer game is easier and the game pieces are cheap hollow plastic and nothing beats a classic game. Needless to say, I had to search for the classic version and this fit the bill. My only complaint is that I wish the board only folded in half like the real, original classic. I wish games were still made that way, but nothing is made to last anymore.

It is the game my children played and I did before them. Not electronic, not sophisticated but pleasant social board game.

This is a good version of the Sorry board game for seniors because it is less stylized and easy to read!

A fun game

My family love this game. I have a very old version that had belonged to my parents for decades, but I was concerned the board was going to eventually break in half, so I bought this as a replacement. The playing pieces are great, they do not easily knock over. The board seems fine and unlike my old one it folds into a square so less space taken up. Not sure how many decades it will last, time will tell. Did seem strange initially that the cards had instructions on them, as old version does not. However we all agreed that it was actually quite a good idea. The downside though and why I haven’t given it 5 stars is the cards have a very fine laminate type coating and it is already beginning to peel back on some of the cards after only a few weeks. Will probably end up having to use the old ones, as there’s nothing wrong with them even though they’re decades old. What’s the old saying? “They don’t make things like they used to” Too true unfortunately.

Got this for my niece and nephew when I visit for game night. Just like I remember this game when I was a kid. Can't go wrong with a classic game of Sorry!????????

Great game for all the family

Classic Sorry. I used to play Sorry with my sister, mum and dad when I was just a kid. We all loved it. I am 74 now and, browsing Amazons games section, came across across the game again quite by chance. Bought a new copy so I could try it out using my granddaughter and her parents as opponents. I was curious to find out if Sorry was as good as I remembered it to be. It was and now it is my granddaughter who giggles with delight when she draws the dreaded Sorry card and can send some unfortunate (usually her granddad) back to the start position. Great game. Timeless.

I have always loved this game. This was a purchase to have a second Sorry game for us to have at my fatherinlaw's house.
