This one works! I tred 2 other brands from Amazon I never heard of before that were highly rated with hundreds of positive reviews that turned out to be junk. Seems to be lots of false reviews, taking advantage of the demand. The name brand that starts with a V is always sold out, so I was looking for something comperable. These red cross thermometers read within 0.1 degF of the V thermometer and between two red cross thermometers. Repeat measurements are the same or 0.1 degF different. I use the under arm method. Just got it today, so can't speak to durability. Bought two more for family use at different places. These will sell out for sure.

Maybe it works?

Why is it SO difficult to find a simple digital thermometer that actually works? Most of these are trash. Now we have three of this type and we use all three when someone is sick and then make a guess. So far, this one seems to be fairly accurate - but then, how would we know? I hope this one works for a while - at least until we're over the pandemic.

Thermometer ????????

I expected better from a product with the red Cross label on it Not very accurate. I am disappointed that I wasted my money. One thermometer said I had a slight fever at 99.4 and this one said 97.7. Big difference especially when taking temps before work is necessary. I would not recommend this thermometer.

Actually works like a thermometer should.

So many thermometers now are so inaccurate. The mercury glass thermometers had a million problems but they told you your temperature. Now cool LCD and colors and sounds and they wildly guess your temperature. Not this one. This actually seems like it gets the temperature right or at least consistently. And that sadly is a winner now. Whoo hoo.

Seems to be doing its job well. Like that it doesn’t take two minutes to get a wiggly babies temperature. I also like that it has the flexible bottom. Feels safer and I’d assume more comfortable for a rectal temperature. I also love that the digital screen lights up so I can see the temperature in the dark.

good product

replaced old erratic thermometer with this one. during Covid 19 I wanted an accurate temperature reading. Very quick, put it in your mouth count to 10 and the little chirp will tell you your temperature
